Stayed Jul 16, 2025The cutest cabin I have ever stayed in with a fence to keep the geese and poop off the lawn. The little kids had a blast catching fish right off the dock. We had a blast watching them. Of course it helped that we had excellent weather the whole time. Son in law brought a lil iPad mat so we all got to go swimming right off the end of the dock. Great vacation. Next time my daughter told me I need to rent the pontoon.

Stayed May 23, 2025We can't say enough good things about our entire experience. The cabin is in an amazing location, very quiet and perfectly situated on the shore. The cabin is so cute and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The fishing was incredible, from the dock and from the lake on our kayaks. Even though it was Memorial Day weekend, the lake was still so chill and not very busy. The cabin has everything for relaxation: the perfect deck to relax on and a very cozy living room (with the best couch) with a great TV. We were truly happy and enjoyed our weekend, and we would love to return!

Stayed Aug 10, 2024The property was easy to find, easy check in, and more than enough room for our family of 5! The owner and the lovely lady who maintained the property after each stay were great to work with. They responded quickly to any questions we had and made us feel very welcomed! We rented the kayaks, paddle boat, and pontoon from the owner. It was probably the highlight of the trip! The sunsets next to the campfire were the perfect way to end the day. Our children also loved fishing off the dock. We will definitely be back!

Stayed Jul 23, 2023Had a great stay at Rice Lake Hideaway. We certainly were glad we rented the pontoon. It made our days on the lake very enjoyable! Host Steve was easy to work with and Diane was awesome, too! We appreciated the great supply of paper products and toiletries. We didn't do much cooking but the kitchen was well-supplied. Loved the comfy recliners after enjoying the lake all day.
