It’s the kind of beach rental where you spread out fast—kick off your shoes in the driveway, forget where you put your phone, and wind up on the porch an hour later holding court over last night’s ghost story.

You’re less than a mile from Southern Soul BBQ—close enough to smell the brisket—and justa short ride to Dulce Dough, where the island’s most dangerous doughnut sells out before noon. It’s a 7-minute drive to East Beach (1.8 miles to the Coast Guard Station), but honestly The best parts are right here. A hammock under the trees. A palm in the yard that’s older than your playlists. A screened porch with room for eight, string lights, and zero bugs. If you’re doing it right, you’ll spend more time out there than anywhere else.

Inside holds its own: two king bedrooms, one queen, smart TVs in all of them, and a kitchen with a reading nook built for early risers or introverts mid-recovery.

    The property was just as described. The neighborhood was quiet and very nice. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the property and enjoyed all the space offered with the large living area. Additionally the beds were very comfortable.

    We loved staying at Gone Coastal and had a lovely time in St Simons. The property is quite spacious. Plenty of living/dining room seating. Kitchen is fairly well equipped and could accommodate several people in it at a time very comfortably. Our pup enjoyed the fenced in back yard and walks in the neighborhood.

The house has all the comforts of home as well as being beautifully decorated. The mattresses are phenomenal. We were,however,without power late on our second day (as was most of the southeast US). With that, we were unable to find food, gas and basic essentials or keep the ones we had previously purchased. I highly recommend this property if you visit SSI outside hurricane season.

    This wasn’t a bad stay for a few nights at the beach with a pretty decent price. It’s definitely not a glamorous place by any means - very sparsely stocked, zero to no rugs on the floor which was a little uncomfortable, and FYI, there is no hair dryer like what is advertised. There was some dirt left over from another pet on the bed and every now and then, you would get a whiff of old urine smell. However, we have a dog so I do appreciate it being dog friendly and there was a great fenced yard. Location was nice - not far from beach and pier. Overall, not a bad spot to lay your head for the night and get out of the heat
