Pet Friendly Classic Victorian Across from Dunes and Beach

We really enjoyed our weekend at this property. It’s a lovely classic old home at the point. Wonderful that it’s pet friendly! The stairs are a bit challenging, but we knew this in advance as we’ve stayed in other homes on the same block. Overall a very lovely property!

Listed on VRBO but actually done through realty company. No real communication with ownerCould not use VRBO cash. Very definite rules about check in at 3 or after and then hottest at 10 am saying property was ready. Certainly would have planned to go earlier if we knew this was possible. Also told to bring hand soap, dishwasher soap and hair dryer. There was hand soap and de soap at property but not a good vibe to start vacationFurnishings are niceHearing was a bit of an issue. Often too warm without good controlLocation is perfect. Fenced in back yard great for dog

Charming old house at Cape May Point. Very quiet after labor day and a few houses from the beach entrance. 3 rd week of Sept and the beach was practically deserted. Fantastic sunsets. The house was very clean and comfortable but when they say the stairs are steep, they are not kidding Our dog could not navigate them so not for little kids or folks with stair issues

Generally enjoyed the property. Great kitchen. Lots of hot water. Quiet street. Cable and Wi-Fi were ok. The stairs were a challenge to both humans and our 14 year old dog. Beds were comfortable and heat/ac units in every room kept us comfy. Appreciated the doggie treats and gift certificate the owner left for us.

Great for birders, beachers, fishers, butterfly fans, and dog lovers ❤️

CMP is a lovely tranquil environment. I recommend to all who want to escape and step back in time. The house and property I’m sure at one time was a show stopper but has been significantly neglected for far too long. Just a suggestion make sure the property is thoroughly cleaned before renting and someone should be checking that the cleaning service is doing their job. Lastly steep stairs that’s an understatement.

This welcoming cottage provided everything we needed. We especially loved the screened in front porch and the fenced in yard. The bright and airy kitchen was well equipped and a pleasure to work in. The location is outstanding with beach access a short walk away. Overall, a lovely stay in a charming Victorian cottage.

This is a very lovely old Victorian home. Very nicely decorated. The stairs to the bedrooms were extremely steep! (The house is old) We loved the screened in porch & the backyard. It was great that our golden retriever was able to be outside in an enclosed yard. The location is great! Across from a beautiful beach. Just down the street from the lighthouse. Somethings we think could be improved, there were 2 used bars of soap in the bathroom , no fresh soaps were provided. The tub/shower downstairs did not have a bath mat & the tile is slippery, we used our hand towel. The tub itself had no grips on it & was quite slippery. You must bring all your sheets & towels. The only towels provided were for the kitchen. We loved the location!!
