Penny's Place Near the Lake- Quiet Rural House, Conviently located with big yard

Very clean and convenient location. I would highly recommend.

The house was nice and clean, but seemed to have an ant issue. It was clear there were some traps to try and combat the issue, but they weren’t nearly enough. It was conveniently located between all of the things we had hoped to do for the weekend. Overall, it was still a pretty great stay!

This cottage was so beautiful and so cozy. The area is so nice. They provided everything in the house that we could have possibly needed. Renters were absolutely FABULOUS to deal with and answered our questions very promptly. We cant wait to come back!!

We really enjoyed our stay! This property was very clean. It is rural but on a very busy road. There is a paved walking/bicycle path right across the road! Blackout/insulated curtains would make a significant difference in decreasing sound and heat from the windows. We enjoyed the home and would stay again. The home is minutes from every thing we enjoy in Charlevoix.

Nice

The property was just as described. We were in town for a wedding. It was not over priced like the in town properties but was close enough to easily spend a good amount of time in town. The walking trail across the road was perfect too!

Cozy grandma’s house, everything works, nothing flashy but a decent place to retreat to and regroup while exploring the area. The mattress’s are the weakest link.

Penny's on the Lake is a misnomer. The lake across the busy street is hidden by trees and is clearly marked private property. The faucet in the bathroom sink has been locked to only allow a dribble of water (landlord told us this). This made our 3 week stay extremely inconvenient.(landlord said he may fix this next year) The bed was very old, sagging in the middle, with squeaky, bouncy springs.The landlord gave us a foam topper but it was still not a comfortable bed. When we arrived, every cupboard in the kitchen was full. To make space for our food, it was necessary to unload several cabinets into bags on the floor. The towels are old and very thin. Bring your own. This is a family home which has an accumulation of clutter and overgrown plants. It is in sad need of some tender loving care!

The stay was nice and relaxing, the only concern is the faucet in the bathroom, there is very little water pressure.

The place is centrally located and very comfortable. It was everything we expected.

Great time lots of space

We stayed here with friends to attend a wedding in Petosky. The property was much like advertised. The bathroom sink faucet needs attention as the water is not flowing well. The bedroom windows would benefit from blinds and outside furniture would be nice so guests could sit outside to visit. We appreciated the clear and responsive communication from the host. Also, having coffee already onsite was a nice perk. Thank you for an enjoyable weekend!
