Peaceful, Private Lakeside Home. Sleep 16!

Our stay on Oxbow Lake was nothing short of spectacular. The view of the lake and the sunrise in the mornings were breathtaking. The house was equipped with everything you can imagine and spotlessly cleaned. They provide a row boat, canoe and kayaks which made for great fishing. The location is perfect, only minutes away from downtown Pentwater and Lake Michigan.

All the comforts of home

Everyone had a great time. We spent a lot of time on the lake in the multiple boats. The beach area is very nice and relaxing. Fire pit was perfect size for our family of 10. It was quiet and spacious. Very responsive to questions and lots of thoughtful touches. Only thing i would ask for is a dish drainer to use by the kitchen sink but maybe we missed it. Thank you!

We had a great time here! The home is very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We especially enjoyed the private sandy area and cozy campfire setup. The kids had a blast kayaking on the small lake right by the house. It’s also just a short 15-minute drive to Pentwater Mears State Park, so there were plenty of activities to enjoy. We’d love to come back again. Thank you!

The house is very nice and looks like the pictures. It’s roomy and spacious and not overly cluttered! Nice bedrooms sizes, nice and clean bedding and towels and the kitchen was nicely stocked with everyday utensils and appliances. There were plenty of towels and washcloths so everyone could shower and not have to wait to do laundry. It is probably the cleanest rental we have stayed in, but I still had to “clean” when we arrived. The corners, creases and under things had cob webs and bugs gathered. I vacuumed the perimeter and corners of every room, under and around the beds, and on and under the long white floor “vents” as there were bugs and spiders. I do know and understand that we are surrounded by trees, nature and bugs but with some of the areas one could tell by the dust and webs that it has been passed over a few time. Other than that it was a great house for a large family to stay in! We were very pleased with our stay. Also the washer and dryer came in very handy as we did a lot of water activities.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful home outside Pentwater, Michigan. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting surrounded by acres of private woods—it felt like our own secluded retreat.The house itself was spotless and felt brand new, with fresh finishes and beautiful, modern furniture throughout. The rooms are incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The views were spectacular—we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset over the lake, which made every day feel magical. The fire pit area was a favorite hangout, especially with free firewood provided (a great bonus!). Inside, the cozy fireplace made evenings extra relaxing. Fast, reliable internet kept us connected when needed, and the ample parking made it easy for everyone to come and go.We also took full advantage of the kayaks to explore the peaceful lake, and the quiet, natural surroundings made it an unforgettable experience. There was so much wildlife around including Eagles and deer and we really enjoyed taking it all in.Truly one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed at—clean, comfortable, private, and so thoughtfully equipped. We can’t wait to come back!

This has been one of our favorite places to stay up north, by far! The views from the deck were gorgeous and peaceful, especially in the morning for us all to sit and drink our coffee:)The beds were all incredibly comfortable and felt like we had plenty of space with all the bedrooms to spread out.The kitchen is modern and spacious. And also had great views!! All the kids loved the room in the basement with bunk beds, Foosball table and their own smart tv. The cleanliness and comfort is top notch.Down by the water is an awesome firepit, with PLENTY of firewood included in our stay! It's such a great set up, and so peaceful and relaxingWe will be back for sure!!!!!!
