Stayed May 23, 2025It was a perfect size for us as a couple. Very tidy and generally well equipped. We were happy to take our own linen and towels etc. The only thing we felt was missing was a hair dryer.

Stayed Sep 3, 2025This was a perfect location for us to stay for the Kinloch Offroad Challenge. Only 5 minutes walk from the start/finish. We stayed for 7 nights and spent time checking out Taupo while there. So glad we did this, as Kinloch has so much character and it was easy to travel the 20 min drive into Taupo for the touristy things we did in town and such a relaxing place to come back to. Out of Auckland, Wellington and Rotarua this was the highlight of our 3 week trip.

Checking process seamless.Did not realise it was a studio room/bach until arrival but suited our needs.Was clean and functional.Dated but functional and price reflected this. Would suggest that more appropriate for able bodied folk due to the access to the property.The community and area were amazingly nice and the locals super helpful. Would definitely recommend for a getaway spit. Would also stay again. Amazing comnunity
