PDX Eco Cottage Guesthouse

The host was excellent and on site of I had needed anything. They provided delicious teas and a well set up kitchen for cooking. The ADU was well decorated and a very peaceful and homey place to spend the weekend. I would love to come back and would recommend it to anyone!

Perfect, cozy spot in a walkable neighborhood. The Eco Cottage was prepped and stocked with every possible need.

The cottage is in a great walkable neighborhood close to many good restaurants and shopping. It’s a very comfortable little Home away from home. Communication with Susan was easy and prompt. Looking forward to staying in the Eco Cottage during my next visit to Portland!

The Eco-Cottage is one VRBO that is even better than the photos. Susan was lovely and accommodating. The neighborhood was absolutely charming and easily accessible by public transport. As an added bonus we got some of the bounty from Susan's beautiful garden. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Susan was a great host. She checked in via text but wasn’t in our face(which is appreciated). It made the backyard cottage feel more private.We loved the location of this air bnb, and the neighborhood is adorable. We had everything we needed. My only real gripes(which are somewhat minor) are that the water pressure is really poor, and the bed is not super comfortable. Obviously the bed thing is personal preference but it’s a pretty firm mattress.Otherwise we enjoyed our stay! Thanks for having us, Susan.

We loved the Eco Cottage and would definitely stay again! The house had everything we needed, and our host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We were within walking distance of a coffee shop and dining options. The historic neighborhood was so charming.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was perfect - it had everything we needed and the location is great. The neighborhood is within walking distance of so many fun places to eat and shop. We hope to stay here again when we come back! The big public rose garden right in front was a plus, too. Susan was a pleasure to deal with and we enjoyed meeting the dogs. Highly recommend this delightful cottage!

We had a great stay in PDX at the Eco cottage. It's such a wonderfully designed space!

The property was very well laid out with everything one or two people would need for a cozy short term stay. Everything was clean and orderly when we arrived and our stay was very pleasant. The furniture in most of the living space is more visually appealing than it is comfortable but it is fine for a few days and it contributes to the vibe of the place. It was a fun place to relax and hang out in and the neighborhood has a lot of character to explore. Check out the local restaurants and coffee options if you want to find something within walking distance.The only downside that we found was the number of communications from the property manager that seemed overly dense and in some cases unnecessary. We had what we needed with the initial email instructions and a booklet that was left in the space for us with further information. Together with the barrage of emails we got from the VRBO platform itself it just seemed like the experience could have been much less demanding of our attention. We booked the visit as a get away and adding 10 more emails to read and respond to did not add to that experience. We were also surprised by an additional fee that was expected after the non-refundable booking was made. If you are considering booking this space, make sure you read the fine print and be prepared to have a significant amount of cash on hand for a cleaning fee that is not included as a host charge like most of the other VRBO listings.

My brother and his wife stayed here and had only great things to say about it. Good location, nice neighborhood. Very nice design and they really liked furnishings.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Ladds Addition is such a pretty area with lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. It is very quick and easy to get into the centre of the city by public transport so you don’t need a car. The cottage has everything you could want to make your stay comfortable.

The Eco Cottage was perfect for our couple’s getaway. Ladd’s Addition neighborhood was a pleasant surprise. Quiet neighborhood with food, drinks, & shopping all within a couple minutes walk. Cottage was simple, but had everything we needed for our stay.

The space was well maintained and very comfortable and the neighborhood was our favorite out of all the parts of Portland that we saw.

Oh my gosh, I loved Susan’s spot so much. It felt incredibly homey and well kept. It was walking distance from a ton of sweet restaurants and shops. Susan was absolutely lovely. I would absolutely go back in a heartbeat.
