The spot on the river with sliders and porch overlooking Shaver’s Fork. The cozy A-frame was exceptionally appointed with thoughtful items and comfy linens. Had a great stay.

We loved the cottage from the first moment we walked in. It is very comfortable. We loved the should of the water as we sat on the porch and had our morning coffee. We would love yo return & stay there again.

We've stayed at the Parson's Riverside Retreat several times, and as usual, it was amazing. Cleanliness is off the charts. The kitchen has everything you'd need during your stay. Nothing better than porch sitting here and watching the river meander by. We will definitely return again. Thank you for sharing this lovely little slice of heaven.

Overall, a great cabin right on the river. The town is small so you will have to travel for a selection of activities and restaurants. We mostly cooked at the cabin, it was well stocked with cooking supplies.

Warren did a fantastic job with communication. He was very quick to respond and accommodating. His place is very nice. I hope to stay again sometime soon.

Definitely the nicest house we've rented on VRBO. We spent quite a bit of time on the deck with the great view of the river. Thank you.

The house is adorable and has everything you need! The babbling river was so nice too! The beds were comfortable too. The technology in the house was also cool! Just a tip to hopefully save someone the trouble we had- it was very snowy when we were there and along one side of the driveway there are large rocks. The rock closest to the road was disguised by dirty snow and we backed into it and damaged our mud flap. Just wanted to make other renters aware.

The cabin was great. It was easy to check-in and check-out. It was very clean and in a great location for all the area's outdoor adventures and activities. Sitting on the porch and listening to the sound of the river was very peaceful.

Fabulous mountain getaway in a cozy little town. There is plenty to do in the area, and it is always lovely just to sit on the porch and watch and listen to the river. We'll definitely be back.

This home has all the amenities you need plus more. It’s set high with a beautiful river view from the porch. And as a bonus convenience you are provided with EV charger. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we will likely book it again in the future.

We had an amazing experience staying at this cabin near the river. The place was spotless and well maintained clearly a lot of care went into making sure guests feel at home. The host thought of everything you could possibly need, which made the stay even more relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for.My family really enjoyed the time there, especially the kids. Their favorite part was getting wet and splashing around in the river. The water was knee-deep in some spots not quite deep enough for fishing, but it was perfect for them to cool off from the summer heat. We’ll definitely be back!Activity wise, the kids had a blast playing board games, we took a short trip to Blackwater Falls just 30 minutes away, and wrapped up our evenings enjoying the fire pit by the river. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at this property. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. Although small, it was perfect for 3 adults to share. Loved the fire pit area and outdoor space. Checking in and out was a breeze with simple clean-up procedures when leaving. If you are looking for a home base to fish, hike or just to relax then this is the cabin for you. Highly recommend this pet friendly cabin.

This was quite possibly the best Vrbo that we've ever stayed in. I contacted the manager twice while we were there, and received immediate responses. The hospitality from the management team was outstanding. The thought put into of every detail, and what a guest would want and need, exceded our expectations. The porch was a magnificent place to spend any part of the day!

We had an amazing trip to Parsons! This cabin is by far the most equipped rental we have ever stayed in. It was clean, well kept, and very well laid out. We absolutely loved having the river right outside the door.

We stayed at this beautiful property for my son’s birthday; going sledding at Blackwater State Park while there. This was one of the cleanest homes we’ve ever stayed in. It was well stocked with everything needed, there were lights installed along the stairway for nighttime trips to the bathroom, the porch was nice for my wife to sit on and read while listening to the river rushing past. Everyone had such a nice time and the host was very friendly, welcoming, and responsive. He also left recommendations for us and one was a pizza joint the kids were crazy about nearby. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip!

My husband and I spent four nights at this lovely cabin while we explored Parsons, Davis, and Thomas. The owners have stocked it with everything you need to feel at home. (Seriously, check the kitchen cabinets and bedroom closet before you head out to the store for that thing you forgot. 😉) Very comfortable. The pics of the porch facing the stream are what sold me, and I was not disappointed! Perfect spot to read and listen to the water. ❤️ Highly recommended!
