Get away from all the noise and stress here and take a walk or hike. Near the National Forest, skiing, fishing etc. Bring the bikes along also! Stayed Jan 1, 2026This is a very comfortable and cozy place for families to stay. quiet, clean, spacious and inviting. Enough kitchen equipment for family to cook. Bathroom was freshly renovated. The owner provided lots of extra supplies so we found everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place.

Stayed Jan 18, 2025We stayed during a severe winter storm dumping over 10 inches of snow. The owner cleared the driveway of snow and called to check on us. The cottage us very well kept and in close proximity to many outdoor activities.

Stayed Feb 16, 2024The house was extremely clean and well stocked. The bathroom was immaculate. The house was very warm and toasty when we arrived and it was in the teens outside. My only issue was the last 6 miles getting to the house. The road is narrow, winding and hilly with some serious drop offs…not for the faint of heart during a snowy weekend. But the sledding and snow tubing nearby made it worth it.

Stayed May 7, 2026The cabin was nice and clean. However, the listing did not mention that there were step ups and downs to every room. One person in our party was on a walker, and another had back problems making it difficult to maneuver through the house. Also, two of the mattresses were not comfortable. Especially the mattress on the twin bed. It was extremely soft and not suitable for an adult. The mattress in the bedroom off the living room slanted to the side.

Stayed Jan 29, 2026Quick response from the host when needed, house was clean and welcoming and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were very thankful for the warmth of the house since we were there when it was minus temps. Took us about 40 mins to get to Timberline ski resort and that was in icy conditions.

Stayed Feb 20, 2026House was as advertised, very clean and homey! Alot of comfortable seating and the beds were very comfortable as well! Kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need and plenty of towels/wash clothes for bathroom use. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed May 24, 2025A friend and I decided to do some hiking in West Virginia and check out some waterfalls. This place was centrally located so that we were able to travel to the trails that were interesting to us. The place was clean and quiet, bathroom looks to be newly renovated and was very nice. We didn't spend a lot of time there, but it definitely suited our needs.
