PARADISE...Lovely&affordable - bonefishing, beaches/town/360 view, 95 5 stars

I loved how high up we were. The view of the land was beautiful. The bird sounds were sweet. I also like the local music we'd hear in the distance, albeit infrequently. The home is very clean! The kitchen is well-equipped! The deck was where we ate our meals - delightful!

The home was so neat and clean and decorated beautifully. The views were million dollar views from the house . The beds were comfy and we rested well . We loved seeing the hummingbirds and the blue waters of Exuma would definitely stay again

Margaret was absolutely amazing host. Provided us with excellent information about the area. Introduced to the neighbors in case we needed anything. Answered her messages within moments. House was just as advertised. Very roomy and clean. We were just two couples but could have easily brought more guests with the upstairs beds and bath. Kitchen was very well stocked. The view from the decks were incredible and it was cool watching the hummingbirds from the decks. Great owners that were very responsive too although we did not have any issues.

Stayed there with my family for 5 days. Margaret is very responsive, the house itself is very clean, well equipped, secluded and most importantly with a wonderful view. It has everything you will need for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. Only inconvenience I faced is with the road going to the house. I rented a small car and it kind of struggled with the potholes and gravel road. And of course Margaret cannot do anything about it. Only thing I would do differently next time is rent an SUV instead.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. One of our favorite parts was watching the hummingbirds come and go - such a peaceful touch. The view from the property was absolutely beautiful, and the communication with the host was fantastic from start to finish. Highly recommend this lovely spot.

We have been to Exuma many many times, and the Hummingbird House more than exceeded our expectations. The house is well stocked with plenty of extra bedding and blankets as well as bath and beach towels. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was very clean. We grilled out a couple nights and enjoyed dinner with local friends. The view from the wrap around deck is amazing!! It’s like being on top of the trees with breathtaking views of the salt flats on one side and the harbor on the other. There’s an AC unit in each room so you can adjust to your comfort level. The washer and dryer worked better than any house we’ve rented there before. All communication from the owners was prompt and pleasant. The caretaker Karleen did a wonderful job preparing the house and is also super sweet! Definitely a 5 Star experience!! Can’t wait to return.

We stayed at the Hummingbird House for three weeks in January. Communication with the host (Margaret) was excellent prior to our visit and while we were at the house. She provided excellent information about the house and Exuma, making our stay much easier and more pleasant. The house is very spacious, clean, true to the photos and was equipped with all that was needed for our stay. We had only one problem during our stay...an internet glitch that was taken care of quickly as allowed by island time. The house is located 10 minutes from Georgetown where you can find groceries, the water store, liquor stores and a few restaurants. The best beaches are located about 20 minutes south of the house on Little Exuma. If you go, you'll definitely be spending time enjoying the view and the sunshine from the deck!

The house and location were perfect for us. View from the deck was amazing - could see both sides of the island. And the humming birds were an added bonus. Our family would spend hours on the deck! House is adorable and near bonefish flats and Georgetown.Host was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. She provides a host of information to help with your stay on the island and use of the house.We would stay there again in a heartbeat, definitely a piece of paradise for us!

The Hummingbird House was a perfect homebase as we explored. The views from the wrap around deck are stunning. Margaret was a great host and very helpful, communicating with us and answering questions we had. We will always remember our time at The Hummingbird House, the beautiful water and delicious food.

This was our third trip to Exuma and hummingbird house did not disappoint. The property is beautiful and the house was very clean and had everything we may have needed. Margaret had great communication and answered any questions we may have had very quickly. We would love to come back and stay again.

From the moment we booked until we checked out Margaret was wonderful to work with and she quickly responded to any questions. Hummingbird house has incredible views and it off the beaten path. The location of the home in Great Exuma was great especially since our favorite beach is only 20 minutes away (Forbes Hill). We felt like we were in our own little world and heard nothing but nature. We were able to enjoy watching all of the birds and also stayed covered when the rain rolled in. The home was perfect for our family and the kitchen is well equipped. We also took advantage of the grill on numerous occasions which was great after a long day exploring. We made many memories on this trip. Thank you Margaret for sharing your home with us!
