Our beautiful, one of a kind, round pedestal home at waters edge has amazing views, incredible dock, swimming, water fun, and the most relaxing spot you'll ever visit...all available for you.brbrWith wrap around balconies, windows and glass doors all the way around and on the water's edge, this home has views and breezes like no other. Huge private dock with steps down to the white sand turquoise waters, two large sitting areas with thatch roof tiki's for shade with a sunset tiki bar that overhangs the beautiful water. Large island float with cup holders, tied off on mornings makes for never ending fun and relaxation. brbrNo need to worry about the kids because these are the bone fish flats, which means besides having incredible turquoise waters with white sand bottom, it also has no drop offs, no undertow, just enough waves to enjoy the sounds and the water is only 3-4 feet deep at it's deepest as far as you can walk or swim. No mucky sand here.brbrSit and read or layout on the white sand directly in front of the home when tide is low. Large kitchen, large living area, and 2 large bedrooms upstairs. 2 sleeping lofts/bedrooms downstairs with queen beds as well.brbrWe keep it clean, always updating items, adding as we go. It is a comfortable beach house right on the water. We are all about comfort and location. The house was built around 1980 it is not bougie its like a kick a$$ lake house on the lip of the ocean.brbrNEW downstairs bathroom as of 6/2/2024. 3 full baths now.brbrThis home is designed to maximize the views and breezes and it is absolutely spectacular!!! The deck beneath the house is beautifully finished with barbecue grill and furniture to relax and eat while enjoying the beautiful view and breezes. Take your family out on our THREE double kayaks or our TWO stand up paddle boards for an adventure and explore the island cays that are part of your view, or bring your fishing pole to fish in the worlds best bone fishing waters that are your front yard. brbrAqua Vista is wonderfully semi secluded and quiet, with the ocean breezes through the whispering pines and waves gently crashing on the shore being all that you hear. We do have a house next door now, but they are their maybe twice a year and are very quiet.brbrAqua Vista is also only 8 to 10 minutes drive to Georgetown where you can find all the restaurants, stores and activities you could want. It is 2 miles from our house to Queens Highway and then 1.7 miles to Exuma Market downtown. Take a boat tour, take a scuba/snorkel charter, do water sports, go deep sea fishing, or rent your own boat and keep it at the house on our mooring.brbr Eat at the wonderful local restaurants, go grocery shopping, souvenir shopping or drive the island to explore the many world class beautiful beaches.brbrExuma in an hour or less direct flight from Miami or Fort Lauderdale, or a little longer flight direct from Atlanta, Charlotte and Toronto.brbrCar rental and taxis are available at the airport. Uber is not on the island and taxis are hit and miss, we suggest everyone rent a car. We always get our cars from Thompsons right at the airport. Roads are narrow and you will be driving on the left so just take your time and be careful.brbrThe roads in Exuma are rough(third world Issues) and the back roads to our places has 3/4 of the way better with brand new black top. The last 1/4 mile of going slow is worth the effort. brbrThe island runs on 2 generators and every few days the power can turn off for a short time. We have put in Solar and it seems to have fixed the problem.brbrThis is our 2nd home and we always want our renters to communicate with us about any and all things. So please ask us anything and we will do our best to make this as memorable as we can. brbrAqua Vista is relaxing, beautiful and more than just a home, it is an experience!!! brbrWhen you book you can choose to pay $89 for insurance or you have to leave a $3000 deposit that will take a few weeks to get back after you checkout. 99 percent of the people choose the insurance.

It is shallow, warm and very safe for swimming. You can run your fingers and toes through powder white sand, whilst drowsing in the shade of a tall coconut palm with a cold drink by your side. brWith few people around the half-mile long beach it is quiet and private. Just the place to unwind.brbrAs a guest at Driftwood you have two kayaks for each Condo with life jackets provided and a paddleboard. There are also some floats and toys for children. Snorkeling is always a great way to spend an afternoon, looking for myriads of fish in the crystal clear waters or swimming with the wild turtles that live in the bay.brbrAt Driftwood we have a very unique feature at the beach, which is our very own private space reserved for our guests. Under the beautiful coconut trees we have many different beach chairs, two hammocks and a table and chairs. If you would like to move the chairs closer to the ocean we have umbrellas that you can use for shade. Generator this is an optional item I offer if you book the generator prior to your stay pricing is as stated if you book it after and need it the cost is triple it is like insurance I make the offer and have it available if you need it and you insure yourself by taking the generator option it is less expensive prior to your stay and is charged regardless of use If you do take the option after your power goes out it is much more expensive and will be an additional charge at that point. The deck is bathed in sunshine from sunrise until sunset, but there is always an area of shade for those who prefer to be out of the sun.brBeing located on the North side of the island there is usually a lovely breeze off the Atlantic which keeps the temperature comfortable, and the bugs at bay!brA car is recommended as it is the most convenient and best value way of getting around the island. There is off street parking at Da Sugar House.brThere is now an inflatable two person kayak (Including securing straps to mount on your car roof), and a mountain bike.brAlso for stays of 7 nights or longer I will be giving you two Stainless Steel Sippy Cups to use, and take home with you. These help you to stay safe while out during the day at bars and restaurants, reduce plastic waste on island, and keep your drink cool.brDa Sugar House dog is called Flo. She is a six year old female potcake (island dog), that I rescued in 2018.
