Absolute spectacular walks/hikes in the community along the shore. Great star gazing. Hot tub delight! Loved the deer and turkeys. Pack your own food because nearby restaurant options are limited but there are great grocery stores in nearby Gualala. A fabulous place!

Great private house with beautiful ocean views! The deck got so much sun throughout the whole day which made the cooler days nice. Hot tub worked great. Close to gualala restaurants. Beds were comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay. The home was welcoming and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and instructions were clear. It was great to have a SR map so I could plan my days. I loved the deer on the lawn, the sounds of the birds, watching the stars from the bed in the loft or while enjoying the hot tub, and the exquisite quiet of Sea Ranch. The home is on the east side of Hwy 1, and I was initially skeptical, but the blue water and some white water views were gorgeous, and I could hear the waves crashing. Thank you!

The hot tub goes into economy mode every so often and then the temp goes down, and we didn't figure that our for a few days, so we didn't always get to soak when we wanted to. Appreciate the pet-friendly flooring. Kitchen ware was pretty minimal. Could use an ottoman for the couch. Otherwise, very cozy and nice place to relax with our pets. Enclosed yard would be nice, or a gate on the stairs off the deck to keep dogs in.

Very nice, comfortable and secluded house. The sunny deck in the afternoon was great when it was chilly outside.

We had a nice stay at this house. Property was very clean and kitchen was very well stocked. Nice neighborhood location and the deck was lovely to hang out on. The clothes dryer unfortunately was not working so was problematic to dry all our wet clothes and towels which was disappointing. The master bathroom pocket door keeps coming off its track and could use some repair. The bathrooms are nicely updated. Could have used more than one towel per person as we only had one each for showers and hot tub and we didn’t realize the rec pool didn’t supply towels either. Overall a lovely stay but could use a little maintenance and more sets of towels.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a very quiet neighborhood. I particularly loved being able to see the starry night sky and early-morning wildlife while lying in bed. Very well equipped kitchen with a filtered-water tap and abundant supplies of everything (except light bulbs). Put a Sea Ranch visitor pass on your dash and take Vantage Rd for easy coastal trail access. Only 4 miles to Gualala restaurants, groceries, and kayaking.

Marissa was very responsive and very generous. Home is very well kept. Home was secluded enough yet close to trails. Comfortable stay.

Nice, quiet quintessential Sea Ranch home with lovely view and huge hot tub. Lots of room to spread out. Convenient location near Shell Beach and trails. Super friendly and responsive host. The house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed dining on the deck with expansive views and sitting in the hot tub under the stars. We hope to stay again in the future! This was such a wonderful little get-away! The house is wonderful... clean, accessible, easy to find, private etc! It's 6 minutes away from town and about 3 minutes from the beach access location. If you want, you can take a walk to the Sea Ranch Chapel or drive there in 2 minutes. The hot tub was perfect. If you are looking for a place to relax and put away the stressors of every day life, this is your place!

Clean and comfortable with everything we needed... the perfect stay for the four of us. We also enjoyed seeing the deers, rabbits, and turkeys around the house. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Everything was described perfectly. The only negative was the lack of firmness in the mattress. It was way too soft for us, others may be fine.

This is the second year in a row we have stayed here for my birthday weekend. We love the sunny deck with beautiful ocean views, the long hiking trail along the coast, the beautiful bathtub in the master suite, and the hot tub under the stars. Pure bliss.

We booked this property for a mini writing retreat and it was the perfect atmosphere! It has gorgeous views of the water and forest from most parts of the house. The kitchen is well-appointed for cooking and we really loved looking at the stars with a glass of wine from the the hot tubs.the walk to shell beach is lovely. We would definitely come back!

First time ever we spent the holiday away from family. While the food was not as wonderful as home the accommodation was excellent!

House was extremely well equipped, hot tub was in excellent working order. Great views from the patio and very close to coastal hiking trails. Saw lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, gray fox) and marine life (whales and sea lions), and really enjoyed the deer and turkeys in our front yard every morning. The only negative was window screens that were non-existent or in need of repair, overall it was a great experience and would recommend.

This home was very well equipped with all the necessities and more. Everything was very well organized. We were there during warm coastal weather and because there is not a screen on the slider door made it difficult to leave the door open for cross ventilation fearing our dog might run out if we didn’t have a leash on her. In the late afternoon & evening we enjoyed the fresh air once we had some shade. All in all we enjoyed our tranquil stay very much and appreciate how well the owners have shared their lovely vacation home. This was our seventh year with our dog at Sea Ranch. Love it.

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at this charming Sea Ranch house. The quiet mornings and night-filled skies were a welcome break from city life. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Loved it and didn’t want to leave!

Excellent accommodations! Beautiful clean home with a wonderful hot tub for watching the night sky. Short drive to Gualala to pick up essentials. Nice walk from the house down to Shell Beach and to check out the Sea Ranch chapel. Private driveway with neighbors not too close on either side.

One of the benefits of renting a property from the owner is that you contact them if there is a problem. Candidly there was a hiccup when we arrived in that they had beeen let down by their cleaners and the house was dirty from the previous guests so dirty sheets, towels and general dirt. We called the owner who was so apologetic. There were clean towels and sheets in a cupboard and all the cleaning things you might need so we sorted what we needed to. We agreed a time for the cleaners to come the next day whilst we were out enjoying the wonderful coastal walks and returned to a spotless property. The owner also credited that first night and cleaning fee which we felt was more than fair. Everything is as listed and I hope this gives comfort that this great property is mated by some people ho do want you to have the best stay possible and react promptly and fairly to any issues.
