This newly built 3BR/3.5BA home features two balconies and a BBQ grill. Enjoy the amenities of Palmilla Beach Resort, including a pool, boardwalk to the beach, and on-site dining.

Contemporary furnishings, high-end finishes, exposed-beam vaulted ceilings, and vibrant beach colors will make your familyor group feel immediately relaxed.

You’re located right on the golf course and a 5-minute walk from the Black Marlin Grill. For more dining and entertainment options, head to nearby Port Aransas and Schlitterbahn waterpark.

ABOUT THE HOUSE

After a day at the beach, cool off in the living room. Kick back on the plush sofa (which converts to a queen sleeper sofa) or on the love seat. Later, watch a movie on the 70” flat-screen TV.

The gourmet kitchen features a gas range and a large island with two barstools. Cook a tasty meal, and then gather at the dining table for eight. Six more can pull stools up to the counter, or head out to the balcony, where you’ll find seating for five.

In the evenings, relax on the two Adirondack chairs on the front balcony. Later, gather on the second balcony with seating for five -- fire up the grill for a seafood feast, and enjoy a meal paired with views of the beautifully landscaped resort.

When it’s time for bed, guests staying in the first-floor master bedroom will have a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and a walk-in shower. A second bedroom has a twin-over-king bunk, while the third bedroom has a twin-over-queen bunk. Both have en-suite bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. And every bedroom has a 48” flat-screen TV.

EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS

Visit the Guest Services pavilion at Palmilla to receive VIP wristbands that allow access to resort amenities. During the summer, poolside cabanas, golf carts, beach chairs, and umbrellas are available to rent via Guest Services. Enjoy a designated area at the beach with air-conditioned bathrooms and food services.

For on-site dining, you’ll find the exquisite Black Marlin Seaside Grill, REDS Patio Bar, and the Agave Poolside Cantina.

The newly redesigned 9-hole course incorporates the best of true links-style play and winds its way throughout the Palmilla Beach Resort Community. Palmilla Beach challenges golfers of any skill level with ocean breezes, lush fairways lined with native grasses and challenging greens. With a variety of tee boxes, the course will fit any player's current game.

Amenities include a second refrigerator on the first level -- perfect for storing grilling foods and beverages -- and a washer/dryer. There is parking for three cars in the driveway, plus additional street parking.

You’ll also enjoy an outdoor common area with patio tables and gas fire pit, which is shared with other homes.

Trailers/boats are not permitted on-site; however, nearby parking is available.

THINGS TO KNOW
There is currently major construction occurring on new homes in the area. No current homes or amenities will be affected, though construction equipment may be visible and views may be obstructed in some areas. Construction has been scheduled during certain times of the day to minimize noise and potential disturbances to guests. The work is scheduled to conclude in the next year.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

    If you want to have top notch with house, restaurants, golf carts and swimming pool with options to enjoy all Port Aransas look no further. Palmilla is one stop for all fun. I will add golf on my next stay.

    The Sand Trap is a gorgeous house in an amazing setting. The house was very clean and had everything our family of 6 needed for a fun and relaxing stay. The beds were comfy, there is lots of room, and the kitchen and laundry were great. It is close to the pool (which was amazing) and an easy walk to the boardwalk to the beach (no golf cart needed). We surfed, played in the waves, played on the beach, swam in the pool, played on the grass and loved the New Year’s fireworks in Port A. Thanks so much for having us!

    Love the home itself. We have stayed there previously. However- it was not very clean, the fire alarms kept going off and there were roaches.

    We frequently stay at the Pamilla. This trip we experienced some nicer things that we normally don’t see and some areas of opportunity to improve. We loved the labels on fixtures and the baby oil that can get rid of tar and the two fridges (one on 1st and one on 2nd floor). We love that the thermostat worked really well in the evening on the first floor. It did not do the same on the second floor during the day. Last we loved how comfortable the bed was and sheets to keep you warm. Areas of opportunity, we expect all appliances to work. The TV in one of the bedrooms did not (bedroom right next to laundry). The toilet was mounted correctly and rocked when you sat on it (bedroom next to master). My brother killed two spiders and a roach upon arrival (bedroom next to master). I personally never saw a bug nor did my parents. We had my husband and myself stay in the master suite with our 2 boys (3 year old and 1 year old). However there were only 3 bath towels for that room and not enough for all of us. Again we had a great time and spent most of it near the pool or beach. In the short time we were at this property we didn’t feel the need to call for the owner/ or leasing manager to fix because our trip was just 2 nights. Thanks for having us! If the TV gets fixed and there are more extras (like bath towels and paper towels) then we will stay here again.

    Sand Trap is a beautiful home. Everything in the house met or exceeded expectations. The house was decorated very nicely and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, pots/pans, etc. In terms of location, the house is located near the entrance to the community and is a very short walk or golf cart ride to the pool and the beach. ***This was our first time staying at Palmilla. I can't wait to see how the community will look in a few years once it has been built up. There is a ton of construction going on in there right now but it didn't subtract from the beauty of the place in any way. We'll be back!

    We had the best time at this lovely beach home. It was spacious, clean, and loved all the balconies. They have just about anything you need to cook a great meal too - which was a plus! Close to the pool and beach. Palmilla was a great distance from Port A restaurants and loved the gas fireplace outside.
