The house was beautiful! The only thing that was lacking was the lawn looked like it hasn’t been cut in a month.

This home was really lovely and very conveniently located for the event we were attending. The farm vibes were beautiful/scenic. The home is very well remodeled and loaded with kitchen supplies, games, books, and seating. The full ice box and filtered water faucet were nice perks. The house fit 10 guests well and we were able to share the 3 bathrooms comfortably. The bathroom upstairs is huge and gorgeous, just wish the smaller bathroom downstairs had a shelf in the shower to hold toiletries. The individual bedrooms were well sized and comfortable, though the 4-twin bedroom is probably better suited for 4 youths rather than 4 adults. Communication was very easy and the owner responded promptly to all concerns/requests. Check-In & check-out instructions were easy/simple. All the rooms had two sets of towels but only two sets of towels were left in the 4-person bedroom. There was a linen closet with only extra face/hand towels, so some couples had to share their body towels so every party had one full set. Better late than never, on the final evening we found extra full body towels in the kitchen cabinets. Not sure if this was known as it wasn't mentioned when inquiring about extra towels. Though the windows had signs to keep them closed, we found that some bugs were still able to find their way in during the evenings when the house lights were on. All things considered, this place was enjoyable to stay in and I would consider staying here again! Thank you for your hospitality!

We enjoyed a multigeneration reunion at this wonderful Sutton's Bay farmhouse. There is plenty of room and did not feel 'crowded' with 10 people. The furnishings are tasteful and practical, and the displayed artwork by the owner is amazing. The setting provided a very serene and tranquil atmosphere, even though it is a short car ride or bike ride in to Sutton's Bay. The house was extremely clean upon our arrival.

We had such a fun week staying here. The accommodations roomy, very clean, beds comfortable, well stocked kitchen, view was beautiful and setting very relaxing. The location was perfect.... close to many wonderful things to see & do. Alex was very friendly and quick to answer questions. Would stay here again!!

This farmhouse has been meticulously renovated inside. Plenty of room for 10 people without feeling like you're on top of one another. It is conveniently located near the TART trail and Sutton's Bay, but it feels like you are really out in the country. I would stay there again.

The location was everything for us during this stay. We had bikes and could ride to Suttons bay or into TC right from the nearby trail system. The house was nice and appeared to be updated recently. Some feedback for improvement- there were not that many towels in the bathrooms for the 8 of us during the stay; there are only 4 or 5 chairs by the firepit and we didn't see any extras in the garage so that was a bit disappointing; there were a considerable amount of bugs in the home when we arrived and they were present throughout the weekend; the AC unit in the master on the main floor is in the en suite bathroom and doesn't cool the cool the room too well.

We had the best time staying at this property; the pictures do not do it justice. We are a family of 9 (7 adults and 2 toddlers), and could not have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. The property itself is beyond beautiful, with plenty of yard for the kids to explore, and the house was exactly what we needed. Everyone had their own space, but there were ample options for spending time as a group. We only went out to eat for a couple meals, so we were more than pleased at how accommodating and open the kitchen was, as quite a bit of our time as a family was spent there. The host, Alex was quick to respond whenever we had a question, and was helpful with all things house related. We would recommend this property 100 times over!

Overall, the house was nice and in a great location. Close to both Suttons Bay and Traverse City and all that the Leelenau peninsula offers. Comfort was a factor since we weren’t fully aware that it was not air conditioned so the family room was stuffy a couple of evenings. The furniture was stylish but not very practical or comfortable for sitting and relaxing with a large group. It would have been nice to use the deck off the main bedroom but there was no seating. Great location, beautiful house but feels that more needs to be done to make it a comfortable long term rental, at least for large groups.
