Stayed Jul 20, 2025We LOVED staying here. The property felt like a home away from home... High end, well-decorated, well-maintained. Beautiful neighborhood, and easy walk to the beach and Carp town. We don't often do VRBOs any more since it feels like the lists of rules rival the IRS tax code and I honestly don't want to have to deal with that while on vacation. This property was *not* like that, and genuinely felt like a friend was letting you borrow their home for a few days. Thank you to the owners for sticking to the original ethos of VRBO and sharing their lovely home!The owners were very responsive and clear in their communication. Check in was easy. Kitchen was great and had all we needed and more!

Stayed Sep 19, 2024A 3-4 min walk down the street to Carpinteria beach. The house has beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, paddles, bikes—perfectly appointed. The house is spotless in whites and the owner/manager is responsive and very easy to work with. Santa Barbara is about a 15 min drive away but there are great restaurants and shopping in Montecito which is about 8-10 minutes away.

Stayed Dec 25, 2023This house has great amenities, living space and comfy beds - terrific for our family of four's post-Christmas vacation. Just 2 blocks from a broad beach and an easy walk to Carpinteria which we have come to love. We also spend lots of time in Santa Barbara, Montecito, which were easy drives (but the freeway can get backed up). The kitchen is especially well stocked.
