A very peaceful location and beautiful home with a generous view of the ocean and clear access to walk down and explore the coastline. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water for showers.

This house sits above the shoreline and feels like something out of a novel. It is surrounded by ocean views and I think the home offers a rare sense of peace, privacy, and connection to the sea.What makes this property truly unforgettable is the view from nearly every room. Whether waking up to soft morning light over the water, watching rolling waves from the living spaces, or catching breathtaking sunsets across the horizon, the ocean is always present. The ever-changing sky creates a different experience every hour from moody coastal storms to calm glass like mornings and golden evenings that glow across the water.Even on cloudy days like this weekend, the scenery was mesmerizing because of its uninterrupted horizons stretching endlessly in every direction.This is more than just a house with a view; it is a home that allows you to live immersed in the beauty of the coastline every single day. We highly recommend this property.

More than an ocean view...right on the shore! Beautiful post and beam with a wide open floor plan. We had an issue with upstairs tub and clothes dryer. We reported these to the host who was very appreciative. Peace and quiet....just what we were looking for.

Location is stunning. The property needs quite a bit in the way of maintenance- broken hammock, many windows not working, broken dryer, ancient sheets with no elastic left, rusty tub, filthy grill and dirty grill tools next to it, hair in the shower drain, mildew in the only shower. We have rented on BI for 30 years and although the view was amazing we wouldn’t recommend this property - they don’t seem to be reinvesting any of the expensive rental price they collect.

Location and setting were amazing for feeling secluded and enjoying elements and seaside views!

Beautiful spot

This is our absolute favorite spot to stay on the island! It doesn't get more peaceful or serene. It has everything you could want. Just don't ask me if the TV works bc we have never turned it on even once in all the times we have stayed here. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with. The property is perfect for our annual anniversary getaway or just a trip to the island to introduce new people to all of it's wonderful. I have been coming to the Block for over 30 years and no where I have ever stayed even comes close to this house. It truly is our home away from home. Just like all of BI... Love it. Respect it. Enjoy it.

The house is absolutely beautiful inside and out...with the most perfect sunsets imaginable! We loved being in the quiet corner of the island, sitting on the back patio and hammock and using the trail down to the beach. As usual, we rode bikes all over the island, but this spot is so wonderful that we didn't really have to! Thanks for a great stay.

The property was perfect! Spectacular views.. the house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We have been coming to Block Island for 25 years and this is our favorite place by far . We hope to rent again in the coming years! Thank You for sharing your beautiful home with us .
