Stayed Apr 12, 2024Communication from Gordon and Heather before we arrived was clear. We were greeted personally with a friendly welcome and outline of interesting features about the history of the house and the area. The property was beautifully furnished and clean, with thoughtful touches and everything we needed. Food provisions were generous with more than we could use in the time we were there. Highly recommend this property.

Stayed Feb 2, 2024I was with a group of five ladies who stayed in this beautiful property for two nights. The house was immaculately presented, cleanliness was of a very high standard and there was so many beautiful and unique things displayed around the property. The history of the Inn and Bakery was very interesting and it was a combination of old and modern. All of my group said that the beds were super comfortable and we all had good night sleeps. The breakfast and condiments were plentiful and fresh. It was very difficult to leave the house especially with the choice of a few hundred DVD's, books and magazines and not to mention the huge smart TV with Stan, Netflix, Prime etc. It's a short walk to the local restaurants, pub and cafes and a short drive to all the beautiful Barossa Valley has to offer. The owners are super friendly, helpful and passionate about their property and I would definitely recommend that this is a great place to stay.

Stayed Nov 22, 2025This was a lovely cozy property, with lots of character. The location was great and Heather and Gordon are very friendly and communicated beautifully. The little court yard was lovely to sit out in the three seasons we had while staying. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Stayed Sep 12, 2025The Old Barossa Valley Inn & Bakery House was perfect for our stay! I came with 2 friends to do some hiking and wine tasting, and the house had everything we needed, a well equipped kitchen and bathroom, wi-fi and a stunning lounge room. We slept so well in the 3 spacious and very quiet bedrooms (with thick stone walls!). The location was great, walking distance to the pub, the well equipped IGA and bakeries. Thank you to Heather and Gordon for your great communication, instructions and for hosting us in such lovely accommodation. We will definitely stay again and would recommend it to our friends and families!
