Stunning property, absolutely perfect for our large group. Minor issues were handled promptly with utmost professionalism. Tons of parking space, gorgeous beachfront setting. Would love an opportunity to stay here again.

Decks are awesome ..just wish the upper decks had better access..pool is great but lights were out part of our week and outlets on pool deck did not work.. we bought a fan to use on that deck because it was so hot .. ceiling fans would be great!..lights also out all week in back yard.. Upstairs air conditioning went out twice.. but was fixed quickly..Great beach access.. Great house just needs a little TLC!

We chose to come to IOP for my parents, who are 80 years old. They had traveled here for many years with a group of their friends and for them, this brought back many fond memories.We chose this property because it had everything we wanted and needed - an elevator, pool, beach front, and large enough for our families. It was better than we expected! Clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable! Puzzles and games are available - we worked every puzzle, except the Chihuly one - I think that one is impossible :-) - we gave up on that one. Plenty of seating and places to hang out and get away. You don't even have to leave if you don't want to!The bedrooms are huge and super comfortable. Every bedroom has it's own ensuite bath. The dip pool was perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or going into town. The kitchen has every possible thing you can think of and the pots and pans are in good condition.During our stay, the hot water heaters had to be replaced. The property managers and the owners were immediately on that, had them replaced when we went in to town, and compensated us for the inconvenience. The property managers were very responsive to any questions we had and were very easy to get in touch with. I would absolutely stay in this property again. It was a great home with beautiful grounds, amazing access to the beach, and a perfect location for getting around in IOP. Loved it!

We had a surprise birthday celebration for my husband and couldn’t have picked a more wonderful location! The house is fabulous! The landscaping is beautiful, and views are to die for. Daytime at the beach and evenings on the balcony pool and hot tub…oh and the kitchen actually has everything!

We planned a Christmas through New Year’s family getaway (all grown kids with their spouses). Got lucky with warmweather so walked to the beach via private path, used hot tub and pool and sunbathed on upper decks. We congregated in main large room with gas fireplace and all had privacy in separate bedrooms. 20 minutes to downtown Charleston so best of all worlds. Highly recommend.

This was a new property for us that they recommended, and it did not disappoint. It is absolutely perfect for our kids and grandkids. It's a beautiful property in an excellent location and with beautiful grounds. It is beach house made for 'beach people!' They had all the toys, chairs, and even bikes for the beach. This is now our place of choice.I have to commend the East Island staff on their accommodation and responsiveness. They're the best. They always make me feel like a good friend.

Kitchen was well furnished, beds were very comfortable and house was very clean upon arrival. The staff at East Island Rentals was superb. Any issues we had, they were right on the spot to take care of them (very few minor issues). They kept us informed of weather issues (thank you Helene). Definitely looking forward to staying at this house or one of their other rentals in the future.

This house was all that we could have expected . We had a weeklong extended family vacation. The property was large enough to accommodate all of our guests and give us plenty of space when we wanted some downtime. The beachfront access is amazing with a beautiful walk thru the garden on your own private walkway. Plenty of amenities, amazing location and very attentive when questions were asked.

We had no control of when it would run or not even though the switch was always on. We tested all our switches and none of them affected whether off or on but it would randomly do so.The trim around the dish washer was an issue. It came loose and prevented the door from closing.A belt in the dryer squealed but was repaired at our request the day after it was reported.Once again, the couches need to be shampooed more often. They are (still) stained and stinky.Otherwise, we felt like it was cleaner than it had been in the past. The crew that cleaned for our arrival did a great job and the new set of melamine dinnerware was nice to have.And we appreciated the landscaping being cut back a bit from the walkway - Was very overgrown last year.The redo of the master bathroom was great.
