Stayed Jul 21, 2024The Keurig was broken and there was no other coffee maker. The yard was full of dog poop. We cleaned it up. The grass in the side yard was more than a foot high. We mowed it. The makeshift gate for the walkway was falling off the hinges because of screws missing. We found screws and fixed it. One of the TVs was not working. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Both screen doors had torn screens. We duct taped the main door, but didn't use the patio door. The biggest issue was the fact that we notified the host but he couldn't be bothered to respond. It's too bad, because otherwise it was a nice place. K Campbell

Stayed Apr 26, 2024My friend (with infant) and I came to the island to visit and soak up some nature. Our stay in Buckley Bay provided beautiful views of the bay, with frequent visits from the seals and otters. The location, while a little ways outside of the main centres, was only a short drive to get to a cafe, nature walks, and restaurants. The house feels very spacious with large bedrooms and ample sitting space to cozy up with a cup of tea or good book.
