I had a wonderful stay. The house is well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Everything was smooth with check in and I had a wonderful time. The view alone makes the trip worthwhile. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

We had an amazing trip this spring break! The house is clean and was a good size for our family of 4 dog. The location on the beach can’t be beat! We went to the beach multiple times a day. So relaxing sitting on the porch. We made use of the hot tub when it was colder too. Everything was in good working order. It was quiet and relaxing!

In spite of strong winds for half of our 11 day stay that prevented us from enjoying the beach as much as we would have liked, the ocean view was fantastic. The house is cozy retaining its original character, but has a modernized, well equipped kitchen with high end appliances, and updated baths. Beds were comfortable and the linens and towels provided were of very good quality. The gates on the different deck levels made it safe for our dog to be outside. Owner was very responsive to our questions. If you want a rental on the beach, but also convenient to grocery stores, miniature golf and Target, this is for you!

Great location. Ocean access and views. We saw dolphins daily. Home was clean and comfortable. Young adults loved the pool table and hot tub. Everything was close and easy to access. Highly recommend this property for a beach vacation regardless of age.

The property was exactly as expected. It was clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive. Having 4 bathrooms was a big plus. Traveling with a dog, having gates on the decking was great. We learned to play pool! The beach here is wide and remarkably uncrowded. We had a fantastic stay!

The location of this historic 80 year old property is pretty darn perfect. Beach front but also close to some great dining and shopping options. Avalon pier is a short walk down the beach. We loved the modern updates while keeping the charm of the original look and feel of most of the house. While beautifully updated, the kitchen accessories need a refresh. There is also place to store dry pantry items so many sat out on the counter. Although we had a bit of a rainy week, we enjoyed sitting on the ocean facing deck where you have an unobstructed view. So beautiful and relaxing. Be careful while on the deck as the boards are old with a few nail pops. I feel like a new deck and furniture may be on the ‘to do’ list. All of the bathrooms are beautifully updated and appointed. Bedrooms are spacious and while not all have closets there a lots of hooks and drawer space provided. Our group enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and large tv in the basement. A large dining table enabled us all to eat together and provided ample space for playing games. This is an older home so some imperfections are expected. They did not hinder our enjoyment of this historic gem. It is charming and provided everything we needed for a fun family vacation.

Hidden gem right on the beach in Kill Devil Hills. The outside may not look as nice, but it is nice and updated on the inside and great quality overall. Just a few steps to the beach, which was not busy at all! Great outdoor spaces to watch the waves. Close to many great restaurants (of various price/cuisine varieties) and things to do. Greg was quick to respond to any inquiries. We would definitely come back. We had a great time!

Absolutely loved the vibe of this house. Perfect blend of rustic beach with modern updates to main living areas and bathrooms!! Plenty of outdoor seating and great central location.

Prime location for fishing pier, restaurants, or just to sit on the porch and enjoy the sunrises and waves. Because this house had beach access within a few short steps, we would go back and forth all day. Hot tub was great, loved the kitchen, the front porch swings were so relaxing, everything was so nice. Thank you, Greg. Can’t wait to come back & make more memories there with my husband, 2 kids and dog.

We really enjoyed our week's stay in this house! It is right on the ocean and sunrises are just amazing. It is close to everything and the place was immaculate. We enjoyed dinner and drinks especially at the following places: Jolly Rogers for breakfast, Mama Kwans for lunch, Trio for lunch or dinner, Mulligan's for lunch or dinner...SeaGreen art gallery on Virginia Dare was awesome....Go to the Aquarium and Elizabethan Gardens one day ( they're within 4 or 5 minutes of each other). This house is one of our favorites. We've been coming to the Outer Banks from Northeast Ohio for about 15 years and always stay right on the beach.

We loved this property! We traveled here for spring break and were thrilled with the beach access and roomy house. The house set up was perfect for our family; all the bedrooms and bathrooms were very convenient. The kitchen was beautiful and we were able to watch dolphins swimming in the ocean while drinking our coffee. Would definitely go back!

Great communication. Nice property, nothing beats sitting on the back deck watching and listening to the waves enjoying a beverage. We had no issues with anything whil we were here. Everything worked and it was just what I wanted. A relaxing week with my daughters. Very quiet but close to everything you could possibly need.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our family time. We all had our own space and bathroom. The house was perfectly stocked with everything we needed. The decks were very nice and beach access was great! This was our first time visiting the area and will definitely return!

Great location! Stocked kitchen and lovely ocean views. Hot tub was broken when we arrived but owner was quick to address. Heat worked well but not when it was super windy outside one night.

The property and location are wonderful. It is right on the beach and the view of the waves at all times of the day and evening is beautiful and relaxing. The gas fireplace keeps you warm and cozy on a cold evening, and the kitchen has everything you need to create a wonderful meal. There is a bathroom for every room that gives guests the privacy they need and the beds are comfortable. I highly recommend this property.
