Pros: This home is in a wonderful, convenient location with absolutely stunning views, easy beach access, and more private outdoor space (a large expanse of sand with tiki bar, etc..) than any other property around. The interior spaces are delightful and very functional. The living room in particular made our trip during rainy weather feel special, with sweeping views through the large windows and a big cozy gas fireplace that was easy to use.Cons: A beachfront house like this requires nearly constant maintenance, and it would appear that, at least on the exerior, little to none has occured since they bought it four years ago. There are missing shingles, rotting trim, exposed wiring, non-functioning light fixtures, as well as junk tucked away in every corner of the tiki bar area. Comparing the property to the listing photos (on Redfin) when they bought it puts this in stark contrast. The interior is also showing the effects of heavy vacation rental use with smudges and marks on the walls, broken or swelling trim (from excessive mopping or possibly flooding), peeling doors, corroding fixutres, etc... The kitchen was stocked, but could have been better (we couldn't find a spatula suitable for making eggs). To their credit, the management was very responsive when we encountered a problem, and set about fixing it immediately as well as offering us a credit as compensation.Conclusion: The negatives only marginally detract from the magnificence of the location. Loved staying here! The beachfront was absolutely amazing—just steps from the sand with stunning views all day long. It made our trip unforgettable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great weekend stay here, having the lot next store as a dedicated private beach for the kids to play was amazing. They had sand toys, beach chairs and umbrellas. The views were unbeatable with big windows downstairs and upstairs. The beds were comfortable and the house everything you could need - (except the fridge was a little small for a larger family- so bring coolers). This place we very clean. We were glad we booked this in October because our only complaint about this place was that all of the windows were broken or un usable and non of the sliding doors have screens. Sad to have such a beautiful view without feeling the ocean breeze in a house that also has no A/C. There are also no blinds in the living room to block the sun so the house gets unbelievably hot in the evening and even with the doors open, it doesn’t cool back down until the morning. The bathroom window also has a note saying do not open so the shower gets super muggy inside. It was bearable in mid October but I could imagine it would be uncomfortable trying to sleep in the summer months. The interesting part was seeing there were reviews stating the same things months ago and it seems the management or landlord has done anything to fix the windows in at least a year. Overall, we Enjoyed our stay, and had an excellent weekend - this is the perfect spot for a little family with kids to stay!

When we arrived we had a few issues with cleanliness of the property but quickly forgot as we watched the beautiful sunset from the deck. Fans were provided as mentioned in the other reviews and made sleeping more comfortable. The back bedroom with bunk beds still is relatively warm even with the fan, so our guests did sleep downstairs on couches the first night. Overall we had a great stay and made tons of fantastic memories. Would stay here again.
