This property is fantastic. We love the location. The golf carts are in good order The Suites are on opposite sides of the house so we never heard the other couple staying with us having a pathway to the beach is great, especially when you have two pups we would definitely stay here again

We've been coming to Bald Head for the past 15 years and this was our favorite place of all those we've ever stayed in. The layout with four large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms gave us plenty of space and privacy while the large, light-filled great room and kitchen made Summer Wind feel big and comfortable for our group. The location can't be beat! Steps to a nearly private beach and gorgeous views off the deck or from the great room all day. Sunsets were especially beautiful. The iTrip staff were very responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely be staying here again.

This was our second visit to this property, and were not disappointed. It exceeded our expectations and the location is perfect. We will be back in 2026.

Having three kings with bathrooms made our stay easy. Everyone had their own space plus shared kitchen, dining & social area. The porch is great & having 2 golf carts lets everyone do their own thing. We were there for a wedding & it was easy to get to get to the venues. Communication was excellent.

We loved our stay at Summer Wind! We were originally booked at another location, but when we arrived some construction made that home and dock unavailable. The iTrip team were on the spot within minutes and booked us into Summer Wind instead. We were thrilled with the location (right on the beach), newly renovated interior, big windows, and comfy king size beds (3 of them)! And the customer service from iTrip was top notch, as they quickly responded to every question and concern. We highly recommend Summer Wind and will use iTrip for future vacations!

Our stay at this beautiful vacation home on Bald Head Island was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and peaceful surroundings. The house itself was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with every amenity we could need. We especially loved relaxing on the porch, soaking in the gorgeous sunsets, and enjoying the fresh island air. The location was ideal – just a short walk to the beach, yet tucked away enough for complete privacy and tranquility. The golf carts provided made exploring the island so much fun, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and make lasting memories! Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a serene, luxurious island getaway

Second stay at this location and booked again for next year. Central location, on beach, and clean. Had a couple early issues and ITrip folks were quick to respond. All good!

We can't recommend Summer Wind enough. The layout was perfect for two small families vacationing together. The inside was spotless with no signs of previous pets, despite being pet friendly. The location can't be beat. The customer service was amazing. Great communication prior to checking in, very responsive when we needed help with something, and thorough follow up regarding checkout. We just got back from BHI and are still riding high from our experience. This place is the best!

My family of 4 recently stayed for a week at Summer Wind. What a great house! Everything seems to be updated for all bathrooms and kitchen as well as flooring. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, the beds were very comfortable and the house is open and spacious inside with lots of light pouring in. The kitchen is very well stocked for people who love to cook like us. The washer dryers worked very well . The outside back deck has super chunky, sturdy, comfy outdoor furniture to eat dinner on, lounge or have a cocktail. The front deck was very breezy and beautiful to sit out on as well. The house has 2 new golf carts that were fantastic to tool around the island or run errands. They are both in their own bays in a two car garage. Two outdoor showers were fabulous. The location of the house is perfect for access to the beach, and the proximity to the market or any other place you’d want or need to visit is very close. We already booked for next year and cannot wait. NC Beaches Itrip Vacations are fantastic, super responsive and very accommodating. They keep you well updated as well. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and spacious home right on the beach was perfect for our holiday weekend vacation. Plenty of room for our kids and family members to spread out, ample living area and plenty of kitchen space to cook in. Walking distance to the beach makes this place a must stay, would definitely stay again. Easy communication with property manager.
