The ocean beach is rightoutside your back door, and the famous Folly Beach Pier is less than a mile east. When you're not fishing, surfing, kayaking, boating, or engaging in a number of other fun island activities, you'll find a wealth of shopping and dining all along Center Street (one mile east) in the heart of town. Downtown Charleston, with its centuries of history and incredible restaurants, is just 12 miles north as well.
