Oceanfront Cottage - 3 bedroom & 2 bathrooms - Great Ocean Views - Pet Friendly

We have stayed multiple times at this beautiful home. It has everything we want - an amazing oceanfront location, spacious rooms, plenty of comfortable seating, well stocked kitchen, and covered deck. It’s very clean and we hope to return again.

Having owned this property for 20 years, years ago, and now renting it most years- this is Like a Second Home!!Perfect location, totally updated and comfortable. What more can one say about —- being so close to the ocean that you almost feel as though on a ship!!Perfect in every way!!’

This was our second stay at Good Vibrations. It was just as enjoyable as last year. The location on the beach was idyllic and so convenient to so many shops, restaurants and other attractions. The home’s amenities met all of our needs. We hope to return to ASAP!

What a wonderful stay! We’ve been coming to OBX for nine years, and this has been our favorite house by far. You truly only need one pair of shoes—and that’s only if you decide to leave the house!The home was so clean and exactly as described. Everything you could possibly need is just minutes away. The deck is perfect, and the beach access is unbeatable—beach, beach, beach!Communication was excellent—our questions were answered quickly and with such kindness.Be sure to check out Shore Coffee and Ashley’s Espresso (you can walk there!), Barefoot Barney’s, and JK's is an absolute must for a special dinner out! We’ll definitely be back next year!

I have stayed in many different OBX rentals and this one was one of the best. We were quite impressed with the kitchen appointments (especially the stocked herb and spices, coffee filters and other amenities). Everything was very clean when we arrived, the views from the upstairs bedrooms were awesome. It was so nice to step off the deck onto the beach. The owners were very responsive to our inquiries before our trip! We are looking forward to staying here again.

Property was exactly what I expected. Looked just like the pictures. Was clean and very well equipped. We had no issues so we did not need to reach out to property manager. We had 2 dogs with us so it was easy to clean up the sand without carpet on all floors. Beach access was easy

This home is clean, roomy, well-stocked, and is right on the ocean with its own path over the dunes to the beach. It has a lovely updated covered deck and is everything my family could want, with comfy beds and plenty of seating. The home itself is on a quiet, almost rustic-feeling residential street, and yet shopping and restaurants are within easy driving distance. This was our second stay at this home and we hope to return many times.

As the owner from 1986-2006, this house has been part of me for 40 yrs now. I have rented it every year since the sale and take a group of USNA fellow grads golfing. The house is and has always been the perfect location and been immaculately cared for by current owners.

We had another wonderful stay at the Oceanfront Cottage. The homeowners made some more improvements since last year. Which look great! You can tell and feel they really care about keeping everything nice and clean. The location is wonderful! I love staying at this house. Thank you!

We stayed at this lovely property in early August and despite the fact that the weather didn’t cooperate, the property was a pleasure. Don’t let the rustic charm fool you, the property is immaculately kept and perfectly clean. I work in the hospitality business and have very high standards for cleanliness and I felt at home here. Sarah was extremely responsive, the kids enjoyed walking to the pier and using the arcade, we walked to dinner and coffee from this great location. I recommend taking a drive south along the coast for more restaurants if you haven’t been here before, but we also went to Duck for shopping and dinner at The Blue Point. Weather was disrupted by a hurricane, but we had access to lots of games and the family room was easily able to accommodate five of us for monopoly! I would absolutely stay here again if we come back to NC!

We had a wonderful vacation at this oceanfront cottage! It was clean with beautiful views of the ocean through most of the windows. I do agree with other reviewers, it was difficult to get up the sand steps to the beach. Wooden steps would help with that. I was grateful for the new handrail though, as it saved me once from tumbling down. The kitchen is beautiful and very well stocked! A few more kitchen towels would've been nice, only had 2. The dishwasher, however, did not clean well. We had to wash everything by hand, but it wasn't a deal breaker. The soap dispenser didn't release, but you can place the pod on the bottom for better cleaning. Washer and dryer worked very well. Also, when we checked in, the A/C was not on. It took 24 hours to get the temp comfortable as it was a very hot day. I suggest cooling it for incoming guests prior to their arrival. The shortcomings of this beach house were made up with being in a wonderful location to the beach, restaurants, and stores and anything you may need. I would recommend staying here and would love to go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Good Vibrations. It was a perfect location on the beach. The house was clean with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen was spacious and provided everything we needed when dining in. We appreciated having shops and restaurants in close proximity to the house. It all made for a special family vacation. We would highly recommend the property and hope to return again soon!

We knew exactly what to expect based on listing, pictures and info provided. The house was clean and well cared for. This was the most well-appointed kitchen I’ve ever experienced with a rental. Had absolutely everything we needed. Ample towels. Great views. Couldn’t be any closer to the ocean without being in it. Anyone that had a negative comment just didn’t have realistic expectations for a beach front rental. We couldn’t have asked for more.
