Great stay!

Check-in was easy. Denise was easy to reach and readily responded to our questions and requests. The VRBO is amazing and feet from the beach. The wall of glass facing the ocean provides gorgeous views and contemplative moments. The location is great for exploring the northern Oregon coast. We truly loved it.

Wonderful, relaxing stay! The condo had everything one could possibly need and it was so cozy and clean! Easy walk to beach as well. Perfect getaway!

We wanted the beach and we couldn’t have been closer with easy access! The views were spectacular. The condo is well stocked with upgraded amenities. Ample supplies for outdoor fun on the beach. I do want to add that it is pet friendly (we didn’t travel with a pet) and it is cleaned so well, I would never know pets are allowed. That is such a good thing! 5 stars all the way but the couch and loveseat could be upgraded for comfort. Top floor, no neighbor noise. Stairs were not a problem for this old couple. Just know your limitations.

This is truly a spectacular rental. It was clean and quiet with a beautiful view. Please be careful to read all the details about this listing. I didn’t notice that the elevators were not working when we booked our vacation and I am disabled. It was difficult climbing the stairs. That being said a very nice owner was kind enough to carry up bags up the three flights of stairs.

great views on the very large beach. Very nice rental. The only thing I would mention is 6ish flight of stairs for entry. I just mention it because my husband has had 4 total joint replacements... and it might be discouraging for people with mobility issues. Beautiful, great views.

Beach view was outstanding. Condo was very clean and looked lovely. Our only hesitation was the couches, while beautiful, were so soft they were uncomfortable to sit on and get out of. I will concede we are seniors. Overall we had a wonderful visit.

Beautiful views and very clean. This was the best stocked VRBO I've rented. We cooked every day and had everything we needed, in addition to many beach items that most places don't offer. Would rent again in a second. So enjoyable.

The view made the whole trip!

Great experience and area for exploration. Well stocked and clean. The space is larger than the pics depict which was nice for our family of four. Beautiful view. Lots of stairs/no elevator access which was not a problem for us.

We loved this place. The view is one of the best at the Oregon coast. It was very relaxing. The kitchen is set up nicely and stocked well enough for ant cooking we wanted to do.

We chose this vacation rental for the view and we were not disappointed. Other than twice daily walks on the beach and a few ventures into various towns for dining we spent our entire 7 days inside this beautiful home that is filled with light and fresh air. We’re in our mid 70s and have been visiting the Oregon coast for 50 years so we’ve done many of the adventures and sightseeing that draw visitors to the Oregon coast. For us the most important thing now is having a nicely appointed home right on the beach so we can enjoy the drama and serenity of the ocean in comfort. Windows on the Sea met all our expectations.

The view was spectacular. We loved opening the windows while inside and hearing the waves crashing on the shore and smelling the ocean air.The condo layout was spacious and the decor was classy. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great for 3 girls. We wished we could’ve stayed longer!We all enjoyed the short walk to the beach too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cabin perched just steps from the ocean. The setting was exactly what we hoped for—calm, coastal, and restorative. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying unobstructed views from the back deck became a daily highlight.Inside, the space was thoughtfully appointed and immaculately clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and inviting common areas. The wood stove added a cozy touch in the evenings. The location felt secluded yet was just a short walk to Rockaway Beach’s local shops and restaurants.It’s ideal for families, small groups, or anyone looking for a quiet retreat by the sea. We appreciated the blend of rustic charm and modern comforts, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We had the best stay here! The views were stunning with easy access to the beach! The location was great to get around to all the places we wanted to see.The condo was well stocked with everything we needed and we enjoyed a complimentary bottle of wine from the owner! The one critique I would state is that the living room furniture could use a refresh. The microfiber furniture showed all the grime and dirt, but I would still stay here again despite that.

Everything was absolutely wonderful with the exception of the directions included how to operate the elevator which is not working and probably hasn't been for a long time. This should be changed everywhere and not just in the initial listing. Please include this in the details that are sent with the address, etc. and made very clear. Fortunately we could all manage the stairs.

The location is amazing with a great view! 1st time visiting this particular section of Rockaway. Manhattan Beach is quiet with not too many people which make it very enjoyable. The condo is very well appointed with everything you could need. For over all rating I gave a 4 star because the furniture is worn out. It still looks good (which makes it look deceiving) but when you sit on the couch or loveseat you sink in. It’s squishy to sit on with no support to the cushions. I had to put a pillow under me to sit on for a tad bit of support. The only place my husband could sit was in the chair. Check in process had a little hick up with the key not working, however that was dealt with and resolved quickly. Suggestion….change the door lock to a digital key pad and eliminate the physical key.Overall this condo and location is top notch!!! I would rent it again!!

Absolutely AMAZING place to stay. The view and sound of the ocean was magical. We loved opening in the windows and having the fresh air to cool down the condo in minutes. All the amenities you could possibly ask for. And not often the pictures don’t do this place justice! We also enjoyed how quiet the beach is and taking walks along the shore. It was simply beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

We stayed for the month of May, beautiful location, lots to do, the beach was great and not crowded.

This condo is wonderful. It is clean and bright and has wonderful floor to ceiling windows to the ocean. The owners make an effort to have every item you can possibly need in the kitchen including a well organized “junk drawer” and a fridge and spice cupboard with most items you would need to cook a meal. We would definitely stay here again

The condo was the perfect place to enjoy the beach. The kitchen was well appointed and made cooking meals a breeze. The beds were comfortable and the living area was perfect for relaxing. The views of the ocean were lovely.

Wonderful in all aspects: superb views, well stocked kitchen, quiet, private, and very responsive host. The only potential issue for someone is the broken elevator situation. There are 24 stairs to get to this unit, so be aware of that if stairs are difficult for you.

I agree with all the previous excellent ratings. The view is unbeatable, the apartment is very well equipped, everything works, looks very nice and is comfortable, and I found the host to be both helpful and responsive. Basically, you get what it says in the description and is shown in the pictures, so all in all tops.Okay, so why say excellent in almost every way in the title. The reason is the non-functioning elevation and yes, I recognize that this may sound unreasonable since the owner makes the situation very clear in the description. In other words, I cannot say I was not warned. The problem is that as the apartment is on the second floor so up three flights of stairs, I found the issue to be more of a problem at both arrival and departure, than I had expected. It detracted from my stay, and I would not return until the elevator was fixed. That said, I am not as fleet afoot as I used to be and if that is a non-issue for you then I would say do not forgo an otherwise wonderful stay.

This was our 2nd time staying at Windows on the Sea. We had hoped to storm watch but we enjoyed 3 days of beautiful sunshine! The condo is very comfortable, clean & the views are fabulous, lovely sunsets & the full moon was a bonus. The pictures are very accurate & it’s well equipped. Worth the effort of climbing the stairs. We will be planning a 3rd visit!

We love this location and keep coming back. We have rented at least 8 of the units here. It’s so soothing to sit and watch the waves come in. We will be back. Thank you!

Beautiful condominium with all the amenities! We will return again

The place was perfect in all regards from location, beach access, cleanliness and amenities. My wife said it was like Christmas morning every morning to wake up and see the ocean waves right out the window. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed two nights celebrating my husband's birthday. The place was clean and well appointed. Floor to ceiling windows created a broad beautiful view of the ocean. Easy beach access.

We had a great weekend celebrating one of our friends 60th birthday. It was a blustery weekend and we enjoyed the view of the ocean that the awesome wall of windows afforded. Loved being right on the beach. We also enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchen and the beds were so comfortable. The owner Denise was so easy to communicate with too!

This truly is the nicest place we have ever stayed on the coast, bar none. It feels spacious and is beautifully decorated. The furnishings are comfortable and very good quality, dishes, cookware, and linens are all upscale. The pictures truly do not do justice to the actual experience when you first walk in. The view is exactly what a coastal view should be: unobstructed and right above the beach. The only “con” was the climb up the stairs since the elevator was out of service. Otherwise, it was perfect. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo. The vast expanse of beach and at Rockaway Beach to the adjacent south were wide, sandy, and nearly vacant. They were a big contrast to the over-populated beaches at Seaside and Cannon Beach. The complex is constructed of concrete, so it was very quiet. We didn't hear anyone, and no one heard one of our dogs barking when she saw people on the beach. The furnishings were high quality and complete, and décor was tasteful. The only downside was that the elevator was not working, so it meant carrying everything up two flights of stairs. If you like ice cream, the many flavors of Tillamook ice cream at Sea Breeze Gifts in Rockaway Beach are great. And the oysters and fish at Old Oregon Smoke House were fresh and tasty.
