Oceanfront Beach House w/ Serene Ocean Views, Private Beach Access, Sundeck, Yard & Screened Porches

Excellent location for surfers. Are anybody hanging out in the surf and on the beach. The place was clean we were met with a bottle of wine, which was a nice touch and the knives were sharp, which is important for me as I love to cook. I also really appreciated the organic products and trying to use less plastic. We will be back.

This lovely home sits beautifully in between two natural areas, assuring privacy and framing the stunning ocean view perfectly. Comfy furniture and multiple seating areas made it easy for our group to pursure differnent entertainment options. The well-appointed kitchen and outdoor grill were great for cooking!

Was a very beautiful stay we enjoyed it immensely..all the stuff you need ...we loved the deck. Morning views. Sun beach lots of dolphins. If there is room for improvement maybe the mattresses.....you dont need for anything we hit the market on the way in and didnt leave...just for some pineapple whip...lol thanks for letting us ladies enjoy.

The beach house was wonderful for our family and the views from the rooms were spectacular! The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more to make our stay perfect. We loved the screen porches and the sun room and just sat and watched the ocean. The house also felt very private and having our own walkway to the beach was perfect for little kids. We would love to stay here again next year!

The house was so inviting as drove up to it. It was ever better than described as we entered. Roomy yet cozy. Peaceful and people on the beach were respectful and considerate. Everything was in working order, we had no complaints about anything.

Very relaxing getaway for an extended weekend with family! Beach right off the back deck. Loved the house! Only complaints would be local traffic was insane, and the afternoon storms that rolled through (neither of which the hosts had any control over!). Also, wifi signal was spotty, but other than that, couldn't have asked for more! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get away and play on the beach for a few days! Thank you! :)

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Folly Beach at Sea Salt on E. Ashley Ave. The house was spacious with multiple areas to relax in and converse with one another. It was well equipped for cooking and the beach. The location was perfect. A very short walk to the beach with wonderful views from the back deck. Sea Salt was the perfect beach house and we hope to stay there again!

Sea Salt was a great stay for our group of 4 adults and 5 children under 8. The location was optimal — far enough away from the hustle and bustle for some privacy but still close enough for a quick drive to restaurants etc. Being on the beach was incredible. We really enjoyed the sunroom and double screen porches for al fresco dining and afternoon reading. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The king and queen mattresses/bedding could use a little refresh but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay. Would recommend staying at Sea Salt!

This place is awesome! It has everything you need plus some. Our whole family fell in love with it and want to make it our go to beach house every year.

We were very pleased with this house and its location. It was our first time at Folly Beach and we were a little unsure about the neighborhood or distances to the restaurants and shopping. The house location is perfect, about equidistant from the pier and the end of the island. We found everything as advertised, comfortable bedrooms and well-appointed kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet, and everyone seemed to be following the turtle nest rules (no bright lights near shore). The beach is wide, smooth and shallow. perfect for small children. We would gladly rent this house again.

Salt Sea was a beautiful home. The sunroom was our favorite. Amazing views. Super clean. Well stocked. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Definitely recommend!

Staying here was a great experience. There’s so many options to enjoy the view… You can enjoy it from the porch, or in three separate screened in areas. We will definitely be looking to book again.

We arrived Saturday afternoon after a long journey. When we walked through the door, our worries and tiredness vanished, the view from the front of the house looking out over the ocean was a big Zen moment for us.Sunday night my son his wife and five kids arrived very late from Tennessee. Monday morning was magical for them. We went into Charleston to see the Aquarium where my husband worked previously 25 yrs ago. This was the first visit they had and thoroughly enjoyed the event.Beds were so comfortable to sleep in and the kitchen had every utensil under the sun. Altogether it was a dream spending time there.

With so many other positive reviews, there's really nothing much to add. It's an amazing place right on the beach. Who can complain about that? Kitchen had every pot, pan, or gadget we could want. Plenty of towels and linens. Comfortable furnishings. We wanted for nothing and would most definitely stay at this property again. The setting can't be beat!

This house was THE BEST! It was absolutely homey and roomy. You could sit on the deck, screened in porches or a sun room and watch the beach. It has its own access to the beach and very quiet in spite of being on the beach. It is fully stocked and sleeps 10. 8 adults and 2 bunks for kids. Close to downtown Folly and The lighthouse. We will definitely be back here. Loved having our extended family vacation here. The owners were so easy to work with as well.

This was exactly the trip our family needed and the home could not have been more perfect. Its greatest selling point is the incredible view of the beach that you can see from the moment you walk into the home. The entire back of the house has ocean views and the large patio allowed our family to relax and watch the waves crash onto the sand. The house sits back from the beach which provides quality privacy, but it is not so far that you feel detached. The outdoor shower gets warm quickly and provides the perfect place to rinse off sand and sea water. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into what a quality rental needs and is fully stocked from kitchen to laundry room. We've stayed at many rentals over the years and this home had one of the best stocked kitchens we've seen. We were at Salt Sea for five nights and could have easily stayed for five more. If you are looking for a beautiful home with an even more beautiful view, this is the perfect rental for you!

This is a great place to stay for a girls trip or family trip. Plenty of room for everyone and a beautiful spot. We loved the games and puzzles you had for us. Also. The kitchen is fully loaded to cook and all you need is food.

We has a wonderful family time at Sat Sea. It is a really beautiful comfortable roomy house. I think it is really better than the pictures! We loved watching the surfers and ocean from the sun porch. The kitchen was really well stocked which was great because we cooked a lot. We really liked how private it felt because there are large trees and shrubs on both sides. It was different from most beach places because of that. I would definitely recommend this place and I would love to stay there again. Check in was also very easy. The hosts were extremely attentive.

We loved the property & the instructions on everything were very clear. The house was clean & comfortable with a nice view of the beach. We loved that we could sit in the protected sun room to watch the surfers & dolphins. We had a very relaxed Thanksgiving together & look forward to doing it again next year.

What a fantastic trip. The house was amazing with private beach access. We especially loved sitting on the deck, watching the waves and having tranquil family time. The house was spacious enough to accommodate our family of 5 with all the amenities we could need. This is a must do rental for anyone considering visiting the Charleston area. Highly recommend!

We are 2 families that like to visit Folly once or twice a year. This was by far our favorite property! The deck, the short walk to the beach, and the longer distance to town were our favorite things. Being farther down the island meant that the beach wasn't as crowded and we could spread out as much as we wanted. Loved the outdoor shower for getting all the sand off before going into the house. The house itself was great! Lots of space for 10 people. The 2 screened in porches were awesome! Overall, our best stay in Folly!

Best place to stay! Clean, private, and great location. Easy drive into Charleston for all the activities & come back to relax on the quiet beach steps away from the house. The entire process was so easy and the family definitely wants to go back again next summer!

We had the best week staying at Salt Sea to celebrate a 40th birthday! The house was even better than the photos - the primary suite bathroom has received a beautiful upgrade! We had a group of 8 adults, 2 children, and the house was a good fit. We loved drinking coffee on the porch every morning and looking for dolphins! Our favorite part was the beach access, and we appreciated that there were beach chairs and boogie boards available. Hosts were easy to communicate with, and were very helpful when we had some travel issues. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

We had a fun-filled trip with family and our accommodations helped make it so. House was well supplied, beds were comfy, and there was easy access to beach for our elderly family members.
