Beautiful, beautiful home. I would love to stay again.

This property has amazing views of Cove beach. Owner is very organized and check in/out was very smooth. It is an older home and definitely has that feel. If anyone is upstairs walking around, you hear the floor cracking in the bedrooms down stairs. Overall I would book again!

This is our second stay here. We stayed once at Thanksgiving and now at Easter. To say we love it here is an understatement. The proximity to the beach and the Oregon Coast Trail is wonderful and we were on the beach multiple times a day. This is one of the most well stocked and organized properties we have ever stayed at and because of this we will hopefully visit again. Thankyou! THANKYOU!!

We absolutely loved our stay in the beautiful house in the trees! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals at home. There were plenty of games and it was wonderful to have a Bluetooth speaker to play music but also a record player. The walk to the beach was lovely and some beautiful tide pools. The beds were very comfortable and each room had a view. Truly delightful. I was thankful not to have TV but my young adults were a little shocked. We did not miss it.!!

This is the perfect spot! Where to begin! The views are stunning; the fireplace is cozy (and firewood well stocked); the kitchen had everything we needed and more (certainly one of the most well stocked we've ever stayed in); not having a TV was actually such a pleasure! We read by the fireplace, played board games, listened to records, and walked along the beach. We felt like we were out in the middle of nature and yet so close to both Cannon Beach and Manzanita. The rooms were comfortable and we all slept well. Our only regret is that we didn't book for even longer! Tracy was extremely responsive when we had questions. If we could give this place even more stars, we would!

Livermore Beach house was simply amazing. The views are spectacular and we cannot say enough about the home. You feel the history here and it is magical. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. And the fireplace made for perfect evenings listening to records and playing cards. My wife and I probably said, “we have to live here” a million times. It was our first time to the Oregon coast and we are in love. Thank you Livermore family for sharing your home with us. Kitchen was very well stocked. It could use more lighting overall, however. Very comfortable beds. Our host Tracey was very communicative when we were a bit confused by the combination lock on the door. The place has a rustic and beautiful feel to it, and you can see the waves coming in a hundred feet plus below through the living room and dining room. Our last day there it was raining pretty hard and we just stayed in and read and listened to music.

3rd year in the same house! Such a wonderful home. Close to Cannon beach, many hiking trails and great shopping. The house is completely stocked with anything you could need. Secluded, not too far from the beach. Wonderful beds, amazing kitchen, great water pressure! Hosts are super quick to respond. Headed back to this home next year!

We absolutely love this property and have stayed here several years in a row. The property has one of the most stunning views in the area and is very secluded. The home is vintage and very charming, and extremely clean. We enjoyed staying at the house, enjoying the views and beach as much as visiting Cannon Beach and the local sites. Tracy the property owner is very responsive and ensures our stay is comfortable and relaxing. Five stars !

We are already talking about when we can return to Livermore cottage. Cape Arch is breath taking and the cottage is the perfect place to take a break from the world. The views of the ocean from the livingroom, the record player, board games, piano, comfy beds and a hosts who are clearly incredibly organized and thoughtful have included everything for your stay. This house feels loved and we felt so lucky to get to stay in it.

Spectacular view and private beach location! We loved this older, but very clean, cozy and well supplied home! My granddaughter learned to play her first piano song! “Fly me to the moon”…so appropriate for such a wonderful home! We definitely want to come back!

The house and property and location are fantastic. The age and history of the house gives it its charm, and we were all pleasantly surprised how comfortable and appointed everything is. I can’t wait till the next time we return.

We had such a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property! It’s just a short walk to a peaceful private beach, where my kids had a blast climbing on the rocks, finding sand dollars, and discovering sea creatures during low tide.The main living area features stunning windows where we even spotted bald eagles! We also loved cozying up by the fire in the evenings and playing Monopoly (or rather, Catopoly!).Overall, it was the perfect stay—peaceful, fun, and full of special memories.

Everything about this stay was great! The piano (which our son loved and played almost every moment we had free time), the views (we couldn’t get enough!), the history, the wildlife, and all of the details and pictures throughout the house!The beach walk was so fun as well, almost as if you have your own private beach! Very few people were down there every time we went for a swim. The roar of the ocean waves put us all to sleep very quickly after some long swims in the crisp ocean waters. We hope to be back in the future and make this a tradition as a family!Thank you for sharing your house with us!

We've stayed in a few places on the Oregon Coast, but this was one we'll revisit again and again. Private and charming, this house felt like a family retreat. The thoughtful touches like split firewood, seafood utensils, clear instructions, and plentiful supplies gave us a worry-free stay that felt relaxing and comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows upstairs gave us unparalleled views while eating, cooking, and relaxing; and waking each morning to the sounds of waves and birds with trees out each window felt truly sublime.The only change we would've made would be to stay longer. Beautiful location

Such a gorgeous location! I couldn't stop taking photos from the deck and from the windows! The house is wonderful and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The directions to the house were clear and accurate and the detailed information provided by the owners was invaluable. I will miss the beauty and the peacefulness very much.

The view is spectacular. The house is lovely and was very comfortable for the four of us. Everyone loved walking on the beach and all the great hiking nearby. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, which he said was his best birthday ever! We were sorry to leave and would love to come back.

We loved our stay in this rustic beach house. The setting is spectacular - quiet with gorgeous views through the trees, down to the ocean. We had the beach to ourselves most visits. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed and we loved having evening fires. The location between Cannon Beach and Manzanita was perfect for us, we enjoyed the hiking at nearby Oswald West State Park. This property is tucked away in the trees and has ocean views. The indoor space was cozy with an indoor fire place and large windows for bird watching. For a space that allows for quiet and being close to nature, it was ideal.

This property is just lovely. It is down a private road, secluded but close to both Cannon Beach and Manzanita. The house is up in the trees with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The walk to the beach is not as bad as others suggested! Yes, it is a steep hill back up but it's not far (or you can drive to the bottom of the hill).The house is really well equipped. The kitchen has everything you would need. The bedrooms are comfortable and it was nice to have two bathrooms on the sleeping level.It was easy to check into the house.There is no cell service at the house or immediately surrounding area but the WiFi worked perfectly.We will highly recommend this place to friends and will come again as soon as we are able!

We had a great time at the Livermore. We appreciated the homey atmosphere and fireplace. Plenty of board games were available. Also, the kitchen was well provisioned! Beautiful views. The stereo (Bluetooth compatible) with lots of records was nice too.

We didn't even notice there wasn't a TV! I should totally tank this review so no one else will go there and I can have it all to myself!! OMG did we love it?? YES YES YES. This house is not a modern, up to date, over the top amenities sort of place. It is a house where you can feel the years of love and family. It is a place to enjoy the fire and listen to old records on a record player or read books of every sort! The beds were so comfortable and between that and the view from the bed, there was really no reason to get up! Amazing. Don't change a thing!

The home was cozy and very rustic. We loved all the old games and records and my son loved playing the poano the whole time! Having no tv was awesome too! Comfy and loved the fire! Will definitely return :)

Great place for a reset

We loved watching the storms roll in from the big living room windows. The house was cozy and secluded. Everything we needed was in the house. Beds were comfortable. The owners clearly take time and care to keep the house tidy and functional. Although the fixtures are dated everything works perfectly and felt quaint and rustic. We enjoyed our stay with 3 kids (7, 12, 15). Easy drive to both Cannon Beach and Manzanita.

Our family of four loved this cozy cottage. Three bedrooms with super views - one which had cute bunks - and two bathrooms (one shower) provided plenty of room for us and our teenagers. They praised me every day for finding such a cool house. In a secluded neighborhood near many epic hikes and cute towns nearby, this place is very special. Well stocked for cooking, making fires and playing games. An old fashioned vacation with no TV. Even the rainy days were fantastic. The temperature outside was perfect for hiking - just be prepared for rain in January. We take vacations all over the world and this one ranks high - thanks! Only thing to note is the somewhat steep metal steps leading up to front door - those with mobility issues should be careful. They could also go around to the back door to avoid them and use inside steps.

The views of the ocean were beautiful. The house had a very cozy feel especially with a fire going. Plenty of stocked firewood ready for use and the beds were super comfy. We will definitely be staying here again!

Everything people say is true -rustic, beautiful views, remote but close to activities, spectacular beach with access a short 5 minute walk, clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, wonderful ocean sounds, warm fireplace. If you want a Wolf gas range and Ann Sachs tile in your kitchen then you’ll be sorely disappointed. If you want to feel like the host has wrapped you in a well worn blanket of love then you will be very happy.

A beautiful location, just steps away from the beach. Everything we could have asked for. The wood burning fireplace was an added bonus! Will definitely look to book again.

I stayed at the home for three nights with two friends. All of us have spent a lot of time on the coast and in that specific area/community. There are definite pros and cons to this house. Pros: The views from the windows are amazing. You are nestled in the trees and yet with a great view of the beach and ocean. If it's raining out... just light a fire and sit back with a book. The beds are comfortable. The furniture is fine. The kitchen has plenty of pans/knives/etc. The house was very clean. It's a wonderful peaceful location. Cons: There was a strong musty/mildew smell when entering the house and it was even stronger on the lower level with the bedrooms. I can't imagine this is an issue during the dry months but we've had a very wet November and the house smelled as if there were some air exchange from under the house into the house itself.

Arrived and accessed the property at wonderful location. However entered to receive a extreme musty smell. We started to get headaches and scratchy throats. The interior has very rundown floors, furniture and other items. There were no screens on windows and some were cracked. We could barely see through the windows. Owner responded right away to my text, was very apologetic and refunded my monies right away. This place needs lots of renovation before we would stay here.

Such a lovely well-loved home in a stunning setting! The house was cozy with a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. It's a perfect getaway for anyone, especially those who love a rustic house perched on a forested cliff with lots of windows that overlook the wild Pacific. Arch Cape is a great location, close to the cute town of Cannon Beach and several beautiful state parks with terrific hiking.

This is the second time my friends and I have stayed at the Livermore house. We had such a wonderful time we already booked for next year! This house has everything you could ever want in a vacation home at the beach, minus a tv which in my opinion makes it all the better. We fully utilized the completely stocked kitchen for most of our meals. The beach is a very short walk and we love the beach nearby. We went to Ecola park and hiked down to the beach as well as Hug Point. The house has plenty of room and is so welcoming. The host is very quick to respond and no issues whatsoever with check in or out. I can't recommend this house more highly!

The Livermore Cabin is exactly as pictured and described. Rustic, cozy, warm, and familiar vibes throughout the property. Lots of special touches, like the original site map, the fantastically-stocked kitchen, and the memorial to departed family members. Centrally located between Cannons Beach and Manzanita, this sylvan sanctuary was the perfect home base for my cousins and I to enjoy all the sights of the coast and enjoy amazing sunsets while tucked up next to a crackling fire. Offshore Grill has the best chowder and is definitely worth the drive. Nice little selection of vinyl- mostly classical, but a few pop gems in the mix. Lots of books to read, too, and a piano to play in case the weather isnt cooperative. We really enjoyed our stay and our rustic Oregon experience in the trees. few pop jgems in there. from my

I highly enjoyed our stay at the house. It was magical on foggy days, sunny and cloudy days. Looking outside reminded of the Twilight series. The host is amazing and communciations were great. The beach below is awesome and feels like a secret place.

We absolutely love this property. The views are spectacular, and the house is quiet and secluded but still close to all the fun in Cannon Beach and Manzanita. The owners are great to work with and keep the house very clean. Also, the beds are very comfortable! We’ve stayed there three years in a row and plan to continue to visit every summer.

This cozy cabin is so lovely. It's like stepping back in time. The homeowners have everything you could possibly need from ziplocs, beach towels, lovely sheets, paper towels, etc. We had a wonderful walk down to the beach (be prepared for steep hill but we needed the workout). The beach is pristine and gorgeous and you could drive down and have a picnic that would not include the walk back up. Thank you for the amazing stay!

The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is well equipt. The location is excellent.. we walked down to the beach, close to Hug Beach, etc. It's a great place to stay with lots of room for everyone. The big windows have salt or some light film on them that hinders the view. Otherwise, we really enjoyed staying there and the hosts were great.
