Ocean Front, Stunning Whitewater Views, Hike, Bike

We thoroughly enjoyed our June getaway to the coast and the rental property was a big part of that positive experience. From the easy, clear instructions provided by our hosts throughout the rental process to the quality and cleanliness of the house, we were completely satisfied. A nice bonus was the list of suggested beaches, trails and spots to check out that are favorites of our hosts. We highly recommend this property!

Ocean Pillars is a beautiful clean home with amazing views of God's creation. Close to the bluff trail for quiet walks hearing only the ocean waves. The hot tub brought great relaxation at the end of the day. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was especially well equipped. Appreciated our communication with the host. She made our stay something that our family will long remember. Would love to stay again.

What a stunning location for this property! I enjoyed my mornings sipping coffee while staring out at the ocean. Excited to see the local fox go by each day, and we saw a bobcat in the evening (a first for my many sea ranch visits), also plenty of dear and Jack rabbit. Can you tell we love the ocean and animals!House was wonderful. Plenty of kitchen amenities. Comfortable beds. Easy access to walks on the bluffs. We really enjoyed our stay.

This house is well designed. There are ocean views from every room. The layout of the house is well thought through. The bedrooms are positioned so that each room has privacy and you do not hear the noise of people upstairs. The kitchen is well equiped and wide enough to have multiple people working without getting in each others way. I appreciated being able to access the bluff trail right from the house. We were there in April and the irises were at their height. Flocks of pelicans flew by frequently. What a treat!

The home was just as pictured. Great for 2 families. Loved how close to the trails are to the house. The view out the living room window was spectacular. Great seating for watching animals and the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked . This was our first vacation to Sea Ranch with a dog. Our dog loved walking on the trails and we feel so lucky to have found a home that allows pets .

Loved it. No complaints. If I could change one thing, I would raise the hot tub height about 6 to 8 inches so the ocean is visible while sitting fully in the hot tub.

Lovely property. Comfortable for our family, view is amazing, great location, glad we could bring our golden retriever. Kitchen has everything we needed. We’ve rented a lot of Sea Ranch houses over the years and hope to return to this one year after year.

Ulla is a friendly and attentive host. We had been at the lodge during a storm when power went out and she messaged us before we even returned and realized the house was impacted (power was returned within 1-2 hours). It was nice to see she was on top of it and keeping us updated on PG&E alerts. The house itself is great - wonderful location right on the coastal trail with ample views. Everything is clean and in working order, and Ulla gave us thorough information to get in and make use of all the features. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the cookware and spices we needed for a few meals. Also the elliptical was a nice surprise! All in all, a lovely cozy spot to enjoy Sea Ranch. We get up there every year and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend.

Our host Ulla was very responsive and accomodating, offering us an extra night at the house due to the power outage we experienced. The house is very well equipped, designed and taken care of.

Sea Ranch is among the most beautiful spots in earth. The gorgeous Galleon Reach home sits closest to the bluff with views looking out on the ocean. The kitchen was particularly well stocked & enabled us to make some excellent meals at home. Just a really special visit.

The host was quick to respond. The kitchen was well equipped, clean and beautiful view.

This property needs a deep cleaning; we spent hours scrubbing out the moldy dishwasher and the BBQ was unusable until we scrubbed that clean. The refrigerator (with a broken door) was filled with long ago expired condiments. The couch needs to be replaced because it's too worn out. Sitting for more than 30 minutes gave us back aches. The condition of the beds was worse - they are long overdue for replacement - terrible!

We go to Sea Ranch at least once a year, and this was, by far, my favorite property yet. The location was gorgeous, almost unreal, with perfect ocean views and tons of wildlife. It was very well stocked and even had extra supply of everything we needed. Ulla was a wonderful host and very communicative. We will absolutely be booking this again, hopefully every year!

Beautiful well-maintained property just steps from the bluff trail at one of Sea Ranch's best viewpoints, Galleon's Reach. A great place for wildlife viewing from the main living area virtually every day: deer, foxes, quail, rabbits, and large groups of pelicans cruising the bluffs. Exciting! Very clean throughout. The windows were clean and had screens and sun shades unlike some other Sea Ranch properties. Kitchen well appointed (loved the coffee maker). Good quality towels and linens. We definitely recommend this property; you won't be disappointed.

Everything was wonderful for our week-long stay with our daughter, son-in-law, 9-year old granddaughter and 9 month dog. We'd definitely stay again in the future.

Beautiful roomy home perfect for a family of 7-8. Awesome ocean view from most rooms. This home had everything we needed!

Our family of 5 had a peaceful and enjoyable time in this house. We cooked meals, played games, watched tv and went for hikes. Even though it rained quite a bit, we were able to enjoy the ocean scenery from the house. We also saw fox, bunny and deer. Everyone enjoyed the stay and wished we had stayed longer than three nights.

We come to Sea Ranch every year and have stayed here twice - it's in a great location, has a group-friendly layout, and is the perfect spot to enjoy the absolutely stunning beauty of the Sonoma/Mendocino coast!

We had a fantastic time staying in this home! The location is perfect… ocean front views but also felt private and less ‘fish bowl’ than some of the other homes on the sea bluff trail. The home is very well stocked with towels and cooking supplies. Highly recommend!

This was our first time staying in Sea Ranch and this property exceeded our expectations. Breathtaking ocean views from the living, dining and master bedroom with a deck too to sit outside and watch the world go by. Perfect location along a breathtaking ocean cliff trail and less than a 20 minute walk to the café/restaurant/bar. This house offers both an ocean view and privacy! Home was very clean and had everything you could ask for to cook (spices, great knives, condiments). We stopped on the way at Tamales Bay Oyster Company and picked up oysters and clams for dinner. We always travel with an oyster shucker but they have that too in the kitchen.So nice to have a dog friendly place. Ulla was also very responsive. Hope to return soon!

Great location near the Bluff trail for easy hiking access, sitting by the cove with coffee or a cocktail, and very comfortable living space for being together. I Fully recommend!!!

Our family enjoyed a lovely week over Thanksgiving at Ocean Pillars. The property was clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and beautiful views of the ocean. Communication with the owners was excellent. We loved being so close to the Bluff Trail, and walked for miles by the sea every day. We highly recommend this property, and hope to return ourselves in the future!

We enjoyed or family stay at this beautiful home. The view is stunning! The Humpback whales were really putting on a show! The kitchen was great for our family which included 6 adults & 3 children: 4 years, 14 month & 8 weeks. It was also helpful having 3 1/2 baths. We have been coming to SR since the 1960’s, when my husband’s family built a small home here. Now that we have grown, it is nice to enjoy larger houses! Thank you for sharing your special home, Ulla!
