Ocean Front Home With Spectacular Views! Dog Friendly!

Hot Tub, beach access, the house was INCREDIBLE & huge.

The house was beautiful and very welcoming. Very clean and tidy. The view was beautiful also. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful oceanfront home.

House was clean but check in process was difficult as there is no cell service at the house and hot tub key was not at the property so they sent someone over to unlock it. Beds in master and downstairs bedrooms are extremely hard and uncomfortable but the other three beds all had mattress toppers on and were comfortable. Not enough furniture in living room to accommodate a group of 12 to all watch tv together as there is only seating for 7 at most. Beach access is tricky and downhill on a narrow trail. Huge dining room table that accommodated all of us so we could eat together. Bonus room over garage is cold and there was not no heater to be found.

Perfect fit for us!

We rented this lovely home for a long weekend with extended family. Communication with the property manager prior to the trip was great, and they were able to split one of the king beds into two twin beds for my teenage sons before we got there. The only glitch was when we tried to check in early after having been told we could, but the code on the front door lock would not work when we arrived 40 minutes before the regular check-in time. We could not get a hold of anybody via phone or e-mail due to minimal cellular service and reaching a voicemail when we did call them. Fortunately, about 20 to 30 minutes later, one of our messages went through and they were able to remotely reset the lock on the door. Otherwise, our visit was lovely with plenty of room for all 10 of us ranging in ages from 10 to 70. The kids enjoyed playing Monopoly, and we had plenty of room for all 10 of us to eat around the large dining table. People enjoyed the hot tub and we frequently walked down to the beach from the house once we found the slightly overgrown trailhead at the end of the driveway. As someone who does not sleep well in strange beds, I must admit that the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and easy to sleep in. The only suggestions we would make would be to add a sponge in the kitchen for washing dishes and more clear directions or a map of how to find the trailhead to the beach.

The house was huge and the games in the garage were great fun.

My daughter wanted to stay somewhere we could see the ocean and this place delivered that view. Things that would've made the stay better, directions on how to operate the TV. I was also surprised that there were no staples in the kitchen. I guess I have gotten used to having salt, pepper, sugar and coffee already stocked. The trail down to the ocean was really neat, but if you aren't stable on your feet it isn't a good trail. On the plus the house is very close to a public beach that had easier access.

This house is roomy but is in need of a deep thorough cleaning. Furniture needs updating. Repair. Most of the screen doors don’t close and latch. More end tables in appropriate rooms and more seating in living room. Flooring is substandardly installed. Price is too high for what you get.

This house was the perfect size, and had everything we needed for our family gathering at the coast! The house just needs some TLC, the dishwasher was leaking, the drain in the master was draining really slow, and one of the sofa beds was broke when we tried to use it. We did let the rental company know and it did not ruin our stay. The path down to the beach was more of a jaunt than we thought it would be from the photos. We really enjoyed our time though and would stay here again!

Nice property and lots of room to relax. Right on the beach with amazing views. Not the cleanest but that’s to be expected since they allow pets ☺️

It’s hard to find a house that has five separate bedrooms. We have four adult children and ourselves to accommodate, so it was nice that everyone had their own space. All the rooms were very spacious. Great kitchen and large dining room to accommodate us all. Awesome view of the ocean.

Refer to letter sent to Sweet Homes for further details. We had booked this rental through VRBO who charged $1,090 for only giving us over to Sweet Homes, the company that manages the home. VRBO was gone with my money and they weren’t there to help me with the Sweet Home debacle. The next morning we contacted Sweet Homes to tell them of the disgusting condition of the house and requested a CLEAN comparable beachfront home. Nothing was available. With family members driving and flying in from five locations we were forced to make the best of this dirty situation. Sweet Homes did give us a 10% credit but the actual reality is I only wanted the clean, comfortable home depicted in the slick inviting pictures. 10% did nothing to resolve my disgust! There were wonderful views of the ocean from the decks and a short, enchanting path through trees to a beautiful Oregon beach. It is actually a beautiful house but tired, worn and mismanaged. I paid a lot of money to experience this totally unnecessary aggravation. Had it been properly cleaned and maintained, I wouldn’t feel so betrayed by the vacation home rental industry, specifically VRBO, and Sweet Homes! My belief is that they don’t really care. They got my money and I was stuck with an unacceptable, unclean house. Is anyone ashamed?

Great location, huge house, and secluded beach with few people.

The home was large and fit our needs for space and bed size very well. It is a little dated and could use some TLC but overall satisfied all our needs and had a nice view of the ocean. Cleanliness could definitely be better. The check in was seamless and they gave us an early check in which was nice. We liked the house and the hot tub was great but for the price I think they need to do some upgrades and the cleaning company needs to be addressed.

This house is well appointed with dining-ware, cooking items, towels etc. The hot tub is exceptional! The BBQ worked well, and the game room was well used. We loved the access to the beach, a journey to the beach everyday through a fern lined path. Lovely! We had 3 other houses on the beach and would meet all for a beach walk daily. Fantastic views and beautiful house! Plenty of room to spread out or come together for a meal at the large dinning table. My parents have limited mobility and chronic pain, so they weren't able to make the path to the beach or get comfortable on the couches. However everything else was sheer perfection. I would definitely book this house again!

We spent a week on a family vacation. There were seven of us with ages ranging from 12 to 62. The house was very spacious and we used every room: all 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, (one bathroom has a clawfoot tub which is not for the elderly, but the bathroom was functional for one of our young adults), a well-equipped kitchen, huge dining room table, where we put together two 1000 piece puzzles and had breakfast and lunch together, spacious living area, hot tub, upper and lower decks and a garage full of games, ie pool, ping pong and air hockey. The house has beach access with a well-kept path, but it is steep in places. The house is within a few miles of a smaller sea town and within 10-15 minutes of two larger ones, where you can find groceries, gas and restaurants. The only suggestion for the property managers would be to provide further direction, possibly in a notebook, on what's available for TV streaming, internet password, etc. Plus there needs to be more labels for light switches and toiletries in the bathrooms. Property managers were excellent and timely in answering all our questions. All in all, we had a great week and enjoyed our family stay!
