The Isle of Palms Marina is also just two miles east, where you can rent jet skis or paddleboards or book a boat tour. Downtown Charleston, with its world-class restaurants and rich culture and history, is only 13 miles west as well.

    This property was perfectly located in the heart of IOP. You can walk to get just about anything. Downtown Charleston was always a 30 min drive anytime of day with lots of traffic. The proximity to the beach and pool were great. The pool rest room was in bad shape however as was the attached laundry room. You can pay to run laundry via coin or APP. The pool was clean and not too busy. The cleanliness of the property was very disappointing. I noticed debris on the floor upon my initial step inside. There were dust bunnies and hair hiding under beds and in master bedroom closet. The tile floor was very dirty. It turned our socks and feet black very quickly. I had to wipe the floor with sanitizer wipes that I wasn’t excited about. We ended up wearing socks the duration of our stay due to the dirty floors. The tub drain was slightly blocked so you stood in a pool of dirty water during a shower. Overall great location and good value but cleanliness was a major concern.

    As long as you can handle the 3 flights of stairs the views from the 3rd floor Building A are the best! Walked out the front door to watch the sun rise every morning and drank coffee on the porch because the sun is not directly shining on Building A like it is on Building C. Building A is right by the pier and 1 of the beach accesses. The units are small, but you don’t feel cramped with 2 adults. Great location. We walked to breakfast, Sea Biscuit and dinner almost every day. The only thing I wished this place had was a Kuerig coffee pot. Had to go back to old school. No Starbucks close by. Grounds are very well maintained. Pool cleaned daily. Overall a great little weekend get away. I will note on one side is the county park (bathrooms, showers) and across the street is the only public parking, so the beach is crowded in this area more so than other areas, but we were not on top of each other

    The location is amazing! Can walk to many restaurants and some shops. Beach and pool access couldn’t be beat. Only complaint is that there is not an elevator. There are A LOT of stairs. Otherwise we loved it!
