The host of this property is great, very helpful and responsive! This house was perfect for our family and we loved the proximity to the citadel, we were there for the game. I was able to cook for our tailgate, wash my cadets laundry and walk to the game and open barracks. Will absolutely stay here again if it’s available.

This house was wonderful. it was very clean, and beautifully appointed. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. I highly recommend!! things to note - the house is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. It is a 15 - 20 minute walk to the bus stop. There were only couple of cafes within short walking distance and we didn't see any shops. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker which we were not able to get to make a decent cup of coffee. Other than that - all good!

Great property and location, especially if you need to be close to the Citadel. We had issues with the internet that wasn’t resolved until after our stay. There were no paper towels or trash bags so you may want to come with those. Parking is a nightmare, very narrow opening on a one way street.

This place was as cute and comfortable as described on vrbo site and reviews. Its a little far from things but we had a car and really appreciated the on site, private parking space a the streets are very narrow. We felt the price was also very fair. If you're older, as we are, the couch is a little low to get up and down.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The sofa was large and comfortable enough for an adult to sleep on. The home was updated and decorated nicely. There was plenty of room for 6 people. The street was quiet and safe. There was a nice visitors parking spot on the property. The owner responded quickly and went out of his way to accommodate our request. We would stay here again.

We (3 women of a certain age) spent 4 nights at David's VRBO in Charleston's West Edge neighborhood in April 2024. The home was very clean & comfortable, with a new washer & dryer (and a Loquat tree!). David is a wonderful host. A lovely guy and very responsive. He provided some great suggestions, and even called some restaurants to see if they were still serving soft shell crabs (the season is short). A parking space is on the premises but is a bit tight (although we got used to it almost right away). Better for a smaller or medium sized vehicle. The location is proximal to the historic area, etc. Since we read that parking is sometimes hard to come by in town, we took Lyfts to some of the sites. (We did see the hop on hop off trolleys all around. We didn't use, but they looked very convenient.) All in all, a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this location in Charleston! David met us on our arrival. There is a parking spot in the lot which worked well for us. If your vehicle is on the large side it might be tight but there is steeet parking as well. Home was just as we had anticipated. Location is an easy 2 mile walk into historic downtown. The home is open floor plan and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need to cook. Nice coffee machine on the counter for use and a French press in the cabinets. Beds were comfortable. We had a great dinner at a restaurant very close called Berkeley’s for dinner. Overall we loved our stay here and would love to come back!! You’ll love it too!
