Stayed Sep 12, 2025Cabin was very nice and clean. Location was great for riding. Plenty of room for us. Lenny of towels, trash bags, toilet paper . Couldn’t get sliding door to lock and master bathroom tub didn’t seem to work but not a big deal. Great place to stay and enjoy the area

Stayed Jun 18, 2025We had an enjoyable stay at this log house in Mammoth Caves in Kentucky. My biggest issue has been getting in contact with the host! Once we left the property she has not responded to my messages and the VRBO help app just keeps circling AI messages. Frustrating!! Please contact me.

Stayed Jun 13, 2025Walking up to the cabin we got bombarded by boring bees and wasps. A wasp’s nest in the dining room door frame that leads to the deck caused an issue, but prior guests were kind enough to leave wasp and hornet spray in the pantry, and we made good use of it so that we could walk outside. The home made bee traps, concocted of 16 ounce plastic water bottles hung on the rafters outside, were, of course, completely full. But don’t worry, there’s plenty more nesting in, and eating the cabin, serving as food for the woodpeckers who start their day at 4:30 a.m. I get it, nature. The BBQ grill covering a hole in the deck serves as a caution sign not to step through the rotten decking – where someone apparently already had – as it’s completely rotted out. There's a reason all the exterior pictures are taken at a distance.Every battery to every remote was dead. Half the light bulbs were either burned out or missing in the kitchen’s one light source, and the microwave over the stove also had no light. The smell of dust was everywhere as every charming, exposed beam had a film of dust so thick you could smell it on everything. Two of the three toilets either didn’t flush at all, or flushing handles were disconnected. All of these things could be overlooked as “cabin in the woods” issues, except for the 5-star all inclusive rate being charged, and basically being told by the host to get bent.

Stayed Jun 6, 2025The overall experience was very pleasing. Inside of the cabin is marvelous. Really nice piece of craftsmanship! There were a few things that should be addressed. But didn't ruin our stay. As far as the upstairs shower leaked into the lower living area. I imagine the property owner is aware. Downstairs toilet in the living room also has some issues. And watchout for potholes in the deck. Not an issue for myself. But for the it could be maintained. If you want an awesome place to relax and enjoy a weekend or 2. I recommend it. If your uptight about every little thing. This is not the place for You. You also should enjoy recreational offroad activity. We had some sxs come down the driveway more than once. Again was not an issue for us. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Oct 31, 2024The cabin is amazing! We just had trouble getting in contact with the manager/owner. We were going to use the griddle and no propane and no can opener. Otherwise it was great.

Stayed Aug 23, 2024A group of us stayed for the weekend to check out Blue Holler. Cabin was perfect really. Stocked well, plenty of sleeping room, peaceful, and direct trail access. I will say the picture is slightly deceiving because it looks like the cabin sits on Nolin Lake, as the description mentions, but it’s actually just a small pond. Will definitely be back though.

Stayed Jun 20, 2024House was immaculate, supplied with the necessities and just as advertised. The large wrap around porch decking needs repairs in spots but it was useable. The beach access at Nolin park is only a 10 minute drive and is a nice sandy beach, well maintained. The beach allows rafts and beach toys so bring them along with you. The drive to Mammoth Cave is about 1/2 hour away by good roads.
