Stayed Aug 5, 2025We loved our stay! The property is gorgeous! We loved walking the trail, fishing in the ponds/lake. The cabin was PERFECT! As my four year said I don't want to leave this cabin, it's my favorite! We want to come back

Stayed Jun 15, 2025Great log cabin with all of the modern amenities for a stay near Mammoth Cave. The big porch offers a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. And the hosts are incredibly responsive to any questions. The waterfall/cave on the property are spectacular. Be prepared though, the rest of the hike has some serious elevation changes.

Stayed Oct 6, 2024This was so much better than we anticipated! All needs were thought of, they really have gone above and beyond to make the stay as easy as possible. The property is just so cool, the waterfall and cave with arrowhead hunting was everyone's favorite part. We will definitwly be back!

Stayed Aug 30, 2024A nice little property to stay at after a pieceful drive through winding roads, farms and a few horse and buggies. We stayed at cabin 1, if i were to book again, id have chosen any of the other cabins, overlookomg the larger water feature. That said, it was clean and pieceful. We got to see some turkeys, cows, and a hawk right from the porch. Our dog loved it! Would recommend checking out the Blue Holler, it was extreamly close and was probably the best food we had on our stay.

Stayed Aug 9, 2024The cabin was cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. It has plenty of space to sleep 5-6 people, and the loft was a hit with the kids. The cabin's rustic charm perfectly matches the surroundings, which include a farm, small fishing ponds, and a larger pond where you can rent a small boat or kayak. The pavilion at the lake was also a nice feature that I wish we used more. Check in/check out was super easy, and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. In-cabin laundry is a huge plus. Overall, we'd rate the property, the cabin, and the hosts 5 stars and would definitely stay again. I do wish the property was more walkable. The ponds were cute and there are wide open fields, but a small path circling the ponds or connecting the cabins would put this place over the top -- even a gravel or dirt path. Cars and trucks occasionally pass through the property at high speeds. We think it's a county road, so we don't think the owners can do anything about it. But, it's definitely something to be aware of if you have little kids. The property is plenty big enough to keep your kids away from the street. The property is close to Mammoth Cave, if you use the ferry. If not, it is about a 45-minute drive to the visitor center. The ferry will close if the river isn't high enough (it was closed to trucks and RVs during our stay). This definitely wasn't a problem for us but would have been good to know.

Stayed Jul 7, 2024My family of five had the best time at this cabin. It was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at and had the most accommodating hosts ever. Everything from the private fishing ponds to the serene sunsets makes this place special in so many ways! Perfect!

Stayed Jun 23, 2024Such a gem in the rural area of KY that was just as the website described for a family-friendly getaway! Perfect for visiting Mammoth Cave National Park by day and watching the sunset from the back porch at night. Our teen and younger son enjoyed the lake on property for swimming and fishing. A big bonus that we could bring our four-legged fur baby along also. Thank you for having us!

Stayed Jul 3, 2024We loved the secluded location and big porch overlooking a lake. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The only two small complaints; It's not really close to Mammoth cave as suggested in the ad. It's 12 miles as the crow flies but a 45 minute drive. That's on me for not checking the drive time, and the lovely secluded spot made up for it. There is also no big table for a group to gather around, but we were all able to sit on the big porch to talk and enjoy the view. Very positive overall!
