We loved staying in the cabin!!! Our family enjoyed our time fishing in the pond, hiking the near by trail, fishing in the larger pond, playing on the swing set, having a fire at night and drinking coffee on the back deck in the mornings! This cabin was by far the cleanest rental we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of places! All 5 of us had enough room. We loved the little cave hike near the place and caught a lot of fish! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating when the Kerig was not working. The cabin is about 40 mins from mammoth cave but so nice to be out in the country. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you

Great cabin to unwind and unplug from the day to day life. Our kids loved being outside (ages 5 & 3) and having s’mores by the fire nightly. Very clean, had everything we needed and great communication.

We stayed at this location in early May 2025. This cabin was well stocked with necessary items. The host was very responsive, friendly, and committed to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. I would recommend stocking up on groceries when coming to the cabin because there is not much around the cabin as restaurants or grocery stores go. My family and I loved this location , the cabin and the grounds. I would recommend this location 10/10 for a family going to mammoth cave.

We had a great stay at these cabins during our visit to Mammoth Cave. The location was peaceful, scenic, and far enough away from the usual touristy chaos. It felt like a real getaway. At the same time, it was still super easy to get to Mammoth Cave and other nearby spots. The cabins were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled escape

We chose this location for our Fall break as it offered a little bit of everything we are interested in. Fishing, hiking (waterfall, cave and semi-dry riverbed were a blast!), golf nearby, as well as horse riding. The property was just as described, clean, and perfect for our fall break. There are enough reataurants nearby offering a good meal, and we cooked at home a few nights. We definitely didn’t want to leave when our time was up. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communicative. Thanks for letting us stay!

What’s not to love? The cabin was perfect. We had everything we needed to make our stay absolutely wonderful and relaxing. There is plenty to do on the property itself and the owners are so gracious and kind. Will definitely stay again and make this our family getaway destination.

We stayed in cabin 2 which is not on the main lake, however, we loved it. The cabin was extremely clean and well organized. The back porch looked over the small pond which was stocked with fish. We spent a few days there. Our main reason for staying was our Mammoth Cave destination. We love to hike and the MC National Park was great. However, this property was too. The three of us and our dogs enjoyed the hike to the cave, waterfall and troll bridge. We fished in the pond behind our cabin every day and had a lot of fun catching bluegill, bass and catfish. We went to the main lake and used the kayaks. The self service functionality was easy. We had brought groceries with us and cooked every night in the cabin and grilled using the charcoal grill. If you are going to stay there realize that there aren’t restaurants and stores within 20 min. A lot of places including markets are not open Sun-Tues. However, you can go to the DG Market- it takes about 15 min to get there. Loved everything about the stay and would go back.
