Great little place for a weekend trip. Host was excellent to work with and the place was super cute and clean. Even had fresh flowers throughout the house!

Beautiful property ideally located in Belmont. We loved the heavenly front porch which was a perfect place to relax listening to the birds before heading out for the day. Host very communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The bungalow was fantastic! Exceptionally clean and neat. The coffee, snacks and bottled water were such a nice addition, she even asked if we'd like half and half or something else for our coffee...talk about above and beyond;). Location is great, walkable to great restaurants and shopping. Parking on the street was perfect, there was always room available. Beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. Check in was a breeze and so was check out. I would stay here again if in the area and would tell you not to hesitate in booking the bungalow if you are visiting the Charlottesville area! Thanks again Janice for a fantastic stay!!

Excellent location! Immaculately clean and maintained. Even though there is not a full kitchen, the owner thought of every detail. From fruit and granola bars to fresh flowers! We appreciated all the comforts provided.

Cute home and very convenient for dropping off a first year at UVA. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance and while we never needed the off street parking, it was nice to know it was available. Very well priced.

Outstanding property...exceptionally clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing weekend! The property is a pleasant walk to several restaurants and about 20 minutes to downtown shops, bars, etc. We felt very safe in the area and there was plenty of parking. The host, Janice, was helpful and we enjoyed speaking with her. Although she lives in an adjacent property, she was not intrusive at all. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

My two adult daughters and I needed a weekend getaway and chose to visit Charlottesville and Monticello and do a little wine tasting at several of the local vineyards. This house was perfect since we did not intend on cooking any meals. Coffee, Half and Half and Stevia (we would have preferred sugar) were provided along with breakfast bars and apples. The hostess, who lives in an attached house, provided fresh flowers and a charming decor. She was available for any questions but we were good on our own. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. We did not mind sharing the one bathroom. Located in Belmont a great breakfast place was right around the corner. Other restaurants were within walking distance although we chose to eat at Petit Pois and Bebedera on the mall. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip!

Janice is a tremendous host and the cottage is incredibly clean and comfortable in an great location. Parking was easy and always available, check-in and out was a snap, the neighborhood is cute, and we easily walked almost everywhere. Was even better than expected and fantastic home base for our long weekend.

The house and neighborhood was lovely, we enjoyed all that Belmont had to offer for dining and coffee. The house is very clean, tidy, and on a quiet street with off-street parking. You’re only a short drive or pleasant walk to downtown Charlottesville, we’ll certainly look to stay here again.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Communication from the host was outstanding. Nice two bedroom home in a great location. We walked to a nice restaurant one evening and a breakfast place one morning. It was also an easy 15 minute walk to the downtown area where there were many more restaurants and shops. Will stay here again.

This property was just perfect for our needs. House is off street a bit, making our stay feel more private. Wonderfully clean and inviting - decor was so cute, tasteful and streamlined - I was very comfortable. A/C works well! No kitchen or laundry was fine for me - a vacationer shouldn't have to cook or clean. Small fridge, coffee maker, snack bars, and bottled water are provided. Several restaurants are an easy short walk away. There is one off-street parking space, but we found it easier to park in front. Steps to front door are steep, watch your step. This was everything we needed. Thank you Janice!
