If you’re looking for a place of serenity this is it. I traveled solo and couldn’t get enough of the orchard view and outside porch. To hear the cows in the background was an added bonus. Wonderful host!!

What a fantastic transition from Cidery to a place to stay. The owner has done a fantastic job creating a great overnight place to stay, explore the original orchard and surrounding property.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! Very unique way to turn something old into something usable. It is so modern, you would never believe that it used to be an old Cidermill. The open floor plan is perfect! The garage door that opens up to the patio is so much fun! We enjoyed every minute, and are already planning on returning when we get a chance. We did not get an opportunity to walk the property, go fishing, or really enjoy any of the opportunities that are so close. This is a perfect getaway! Easy to get lost from the world.

It was a great place to stay - I loved the mix of rustic and modern. I only wish we had time to stay longer. Truly, the only drawback was the lack of internet as I had to use the hotspot on my phone but I knew that going in so it wasn't a surprise.

The proppery was located in a great area. The out side porch over looing the beautiful views was amazing. The house was very clean and modern. I would say here again and again.

Very private and comfortable. The area Iis remote so expect to drive a short distance for food, etc. Or bring your own and prepare your dinner in the full kitchen or grill on the cozy porch. Nice walking area. Scenery is beautiful.

If you are ready for a reset, this is your place. It is the most calming property I have had the pleasure to stay at. It exudes all the very best vibes and is a gorgeous testament to its former glory as a cider production facility and showroom. I could feel love and pride pouring from every nook and cranny throughout my lovely stay. Diane and Chuck--it was a true privilege to stay here. Thank you so much!

What a gem! Tastefully renovated and furnished, beautiful setting, very clean and practical.

Orchard is beautiful. Appreciate the framed photos, awards and magazine articles hung around the home. Creative use of space too. Outdoor patio is an ideal spot for enjoying the weather. Not as private as I expected—right off the main road and while traffic is little, I thought I’d be more tucked away.

All was great. I wish it was simpler to use the television.

This is the third time that we have stayed here and it quickly has become my happy place! There are so many nice touches throughout the property it really enhances your stay. It is very well stocked and the kitchen has everything that you may need. The location is incredibly beautiful with plenty to do in the area. Diane is wonderful too talk and work with and it is plain that she puts in a lot of effort to make her property one of the best. We'll be back!

Everything was exactly as it was represented in the listing. The owner communicated quickly and answered all of our questions. It was well-stocked with toiletries, linens, etc. You are able to walk around the grounds which was nice. A great place to stay - we highly recommend it!

Wonderful VRBO! Diane was so kind and welcoming. The home was beautiful, well furnished, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed walking/hiking on the farm. We loved having an apple orchard outside the front door, and cows across the street. Only 20ish minute drive to quaint town of Floyd and Chateaux Morrisette. We had such a relaxing weekend in this home and would love to go back!

Beautiful property,host was prompt in response. Instructions for TV and streaming need be more detailed . Confusing at best. Need a code that isn’t listed in instructions. Maybe move router closer to living room . Internet in and out. Other than that nice stay

Exactly what we had expected. Somewhat familiar with the area. We enjoyed the open area adjacent to the kitchen. Only issue we encountered was that is only one towel and it was late so we made do. Thanks for having us we really enjoy places like this.

The property was great, me and the wife enjoyed the wonderful little house and the scenery. 25 minutes to fix and activities, driving on fun mountain roads. Wish we could've stayed longer.

We loved this property, there were so many lovely little touches throughout. You can tell a lot of thought was put into converting it. I’ll be honest in disclosing I’ve visited when the building was used for a retail location, so to see its transformation into a residence was quite a thrill. It allows a glimpse into its former life and still gives a stylish and very functional place to stay a weekend or longer. Cozy areas to sit for a good book or just relax with an appropriate beverage. The bed was my first experience of getting lost and enjoying it. The surrounding area provides plenty for activities, from exploring the immediate trails near or on Buffalo Mtn to visiting the town of Floyd for music and a meal. I look forward to a return trip

This place is a 10/10, beautiful cider house. The host was very communicative, as the power was out the night before. The host worked diligently to keep me updated and everything worked out! It was raining during our stay but it was a nice get away and very cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Thanks.

The Cider House was tucked away in a private area with beautiful views of the orchard. Location is close to Chateau Morrisette Winery, so we visited there to enjoy lunch. Will stay again!

My partner and I loved the privacy of this location, and how little light and sound pollution there was! It was very cold in December while we were there, but there were blankets for us to use, and the bed was incredible comfortable. A wonderful stay!

Immaculate and unique property to enjoy the beauty and charm of Southwest Virginia! Host was very responsive. We would rate it even higher if we could!

Absolutely loved this Vrbo! Communication with the owner and non-contact access was a breeze (we checked in late at night without any problems). The location was well-stocked with everything you needed. We found the king bed very comfortable and loved the bathroom towels (felt like we were in a hotel with extra shampoo/conditioner/makeup hand towels). We did not cook but the kitchen had all the things you would need. Since we went just before Thanksgiving, it was chilly, but the heat worked well, and we were comfortable there. There were maps of the apple orchard walking trails which we did not get to use (we went hiking elsewhere nearby). We loved the proximity to the local wineries. We will definitely have to come back. It was a perfect getaway weekend spot. I highly recommend!

We loved everything about the cider house.

My husband and I went for weekend getaway and it was the perfect spot. Cider house was comfy and clean. We were fortunate to go during perfect weather and was able to open the garage to let the outside in, which was our favorite part. I'd advise to bring slippers as the floors do get cold. Was a wonderful stay, we will be back and highly recommend.

We loved Diane and Chuck’s place! It was serene and peaceful with cows grazing across the small country road. Diane was very responsive the multiple times I reached out. We loved the apple orchards…the apples were delicious. You can’t beat the stars at night. I loved being off the grid and it was a great time of family connection for us and our teenage boys. So glad there was no internet!

This is a unique property in a very special location. It is remote but well worth the effort to get there. A perfect place for reflection in a very well-appointed property. I would highly recommend making the effort to explore this area. We took a walk at dusk in the orchard and were greeted by several deer who were looking for apple drops. So picturesque. Lovely hiking trails on the property. Would come back in a heartbeat.

This place is immaculate and so comfy! The outdoor space is perfect, just wish we'd had more time to spend doing nothing. The nearby town of Floyd is a must see quaint little town with the coolest vibe! Definitely would love to visit again.
