Castleton, Vermont
Welcome! We have spent close to 2 years designing and building our dream house on Lake Bomoseen. It will be completed in July of 2022. (These photos are mostly renderings other than the landscape. For progress pictures, please visit bomoseenaframe on IG.) It is a quiet spot on the north end of the lake, with no direct neighbors and calm waters.
It is located about 45 minutes from Killington, 45 from Okemo, and 30 from Pico.
It will be rentable in three different configurations: 5BR/3.5BA, 3-BR/2.5BA, or a 2BR/1BA unit. Please contact us for pricing on one of the smaller configurations.
The property has 285 feet of shoreline with a dock, a roof deck, front porch, fire pit, grill, central air, two kitchens, two sets of washer/dryer units, 2-car garage, access to tons of biking and hiking trails, and stunning views south down the lake with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Perfect for a relaxing getaway or a nearby wedding. (Please note that we do not have a motorboat available to renters, but you can rent them at Woodard’s at the south end of the lake, or bring your own boat and use our dock.)
This house is brand new so we’re wary of pets but since we have a dog ourselves, we’re also open to discussing it if your dog(s) won’t wreck anything…
We have a strict cancelation policy because it will be difficult to re-rent on short notice, but if you need to cancel and we can re-rent it, we will refund you in full. We also have a week long minimum booking for peak (typically Saturday-Saturday but that is flexible) and three nights for off-peak. Thank you!
Very clean property, beautiful home, hospitable host.
We enjoyed the beautiful home and it fit 11 of us very comfortably! This spot on the lake was very peaceful and exactly what we needed for a family vacation!
Great space for family gatherings by the lake!
First of all I want to start by congratulating Trey and his wife on building this amazing lakefront property. The check-in process was seamless and instructions on everything in the house were clear and concise. Trey was accessibly by email and text and answered many other questions we had. The outdoor deck and fire pit are are wonderful for groups to gather around. The house is very modern and the hosts had ensured that all the basic needs and supplies were available. Can’t wait to go back when the weather is a bit warmer and enjoy the summertime activities in the area. The kids enjoyed the lake side activities and it was a very relaxing weekend. I would surely recommend this property to anyone looking to getaway for a good relaxing vacation!!
We (group of 10) had a lovely stay at Trey's AA cabin. It's really spacious and was plenty of space for us to hang out. The pictures don't do justice on the inside of the house and how much space we had. The house was stocked with everything we could think of (hairdryers, eyemasks, towels, blankets, cooking equipment -- not to mention, state-of-the-art kitchen & double oven w/ touch screen, etc.) The master bedroom is directly above the main area so could get noisy if folks are up late in the main area, but the further side of the house is very quiet (couldn't hear a thing :) ). There's also a firepit outside that we used and the house has a lovely vantage point of Lake Bomoseen. We stayed here for skiing at Killington (~45min away) for a few days, but I'm sure there's plenty of outdoor activities in the warmer months as well! Trey was very responsive to any and all questions I had and would 10/10 recommend!
I have nothing but great things to say about Trey and his Lake Bomoseen property! The place is modern, clean, well-equipped with everything you need (quite literally), and incredibly beautiful. Our group had a wonderful time staying there. Trey is great to communicate with and responsive. We loved our stay here.
This house is amazing and the hosts are great!
From the day I booked this reservation it was unlike any other. The home was still under construction and I asked the host for real pics. In less than 24 hours, he sent me several. Once we arrived, I realized the pictures did this place no justice. This home is absolutely breathtaking. They thought of everything. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Oir entire family was with us, we watched movies up top on the open outdoor loft area, we rode bikes, kayaked on the lake, rented a boat, went hiking, and it was wonderful to to home to a place that met every need me and my family had. I would highly recommend this hist and we do plan to go back.
Our extended family just returned from spending a week at Trey's beautiful A-Frame house on Lake Bomoseen. We booked this house before it was complete - based only on some impressive architectural plans - but this worked out so well for us, as we were able to be the first family to rent the new house, soon after it was complete. So, now we also get to leave the first review. Trey was very helpful and supportive in the weeks leading up to our arrival. He answered all of our questions and helped us plan for our arrival. It was great to meet Trey and his family at our check-in. All of us highly recommend this house as a great place to stay for a relaxing family vacation in a comfortable and unique home. Trey's house is at a great spot on the lake. It stands out with a unique modern design, and the inside is as impressive as the outside. The house was perfect for our group of 8, allowing every couple and child to have their own room. But, it could just as easily support a larger family (especially with the additional bunk beds in the downstairs bedroom). The living room and the second-floor deck both have great views of the lake. The house has paddle boards and a kayak. We brought two more kayaks, and enjoyed paddling around near the house. We also rented a pontoon boat from Woodard's for a few days (which I highly recommend) - it allowed us to explore and fish on the entire lake. So, we all enthusiastically recommend a visit to Trey's A-Frame. It's a great house on a beautiful lake.
