New Bern Home w/ Water View ~ 6 Mi to Downtown!

We needed a place to stay for a quick trip. This fit the bill perfectly. For us it was centrally located. House was clean, nice view and quiet neighborhood. We plan on renting again soon.

Nice property and location. Many small issues though. Ceiling fan in great room didn’t work. Fan in master stuck on one speed - remote had no batteries.

This house was perfect! Our son lives in the area and this house was just minutes away from him. The view of the river is fantastic. We even had Christmas decorations! My favorite perk was the heated toilet seat. My only suggestion would be better pillows.

Stayed for a week while beginning a local home build. A very comfortable, clean home in a great location. Owner and manager communicated well and were professional.

We had a problem with high tide and storm surge. Had to drive through standing water many times. Other than that, the place is very nice. I did have trouble the first night with our beds being sripped and no clean bedding to be found. That was corrected the following day. The owner offered to take us through the high water, but we decided to drive through. Overall a good experience.

We had a delightful stay. A beautiful location and a comfortable place to stay. Who could ask for more.

We stayed a week here. Place was very clean. Nice quiet road. Excellent walk for pups. Easy access to visit surrounding areas.

It met my needs. Location was great and it had plenty of living space.

The place was nice. It was clean, but there were a number of items broken—outside chair broke on family member, kitchen sink didn’t work until I changed the batteries on its pumping mechanism, bathroom towel rack was almost coming out of the wall, no lint catcher in dryer, dryer didn’t dry very well, a piece of siding off of a side of the house, and other small wearing and tear items. Dominic was very responsive to helping me. He even answered a phone call at midnight on the night of the check in—we had some trouble with the lock box. Evolve should note that the garage is NOT included and there is only a twin trundle in the loft (not a trundle and a twin bed). We had to extend the stay and Dominic helped in that process. Over all nice place to stay but does need a little TLC.

Stay was nice. Place was in great shape.

Loved the place, was clean and neat and the location was great as well. There were a couple of things such as the fridge not being cleaned out, a broken cabinet door, a broken chair and the blinds being in disrepair, but those things are normal and minor in nature. I was trying to get a particular channel to watch March madness, and the owner actually came over and tried to assist which is above and beyond!I would definitely recommend this property when visiting New Bern!!!

This home was clean and comfortable. We had great communication with the owner. The neighborhood was very nice. There was a good view of the water. No complaints.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Home is beautiful as is the setting. New Bern is a very interesting town, with loads to see and do.

The house is nice but needed a lot of TLC. The check in was very inconvenient. We called to ask about a possibility of early check in. Didn’t get an answer. Left message. Received text back stating cleaner had been in accident so it wouldn’t be ready for early check in. We were almost there for our 4pm check in and received a text at 4:01 that it would be 5pm before we could check in because previous renters had pets. We had our boat so it was very inconvenient. We asked if we could park the boat on property until we could check in and were told yes but the same vehicle that had been on the property the day before was parked in the driveway blocking the space so we we’re unable to leave our boat. We waited outside of the residence for over an hour. During this time the owner of the property noticed us waiting and stopped by to try to get everything resolved. We’re were finally able to get in after 5pm. Then the property was unsanitary with grease on the floor in the kitchen and multiple other cleanliness issues. We fought ants the entire stay. There were multiple safety issues including broken step. The owner has been made aware as well as property manager.

Easy check-in, fun/nice layout and everything in good shape. The dual shower head master bath was a hit. We had a nice 2 night visit.
