Nature retreat on Enoree river

I absolutely loved the view! Wonderful to look at while having morning coffee.

This spacious 2 bedroom guest suite was absolutely perfect.The decor is tasteful and charming.Everything is clean and comfortable. Although the location is somewhat remote and off the beaten track, both Spartanburg and. Greenville are easily accessible by car. Plus, the natural surroundings are breathtaking, picturesque, and peaceful.The owners, Lucia and Chris are very welcoming, conscientious, and helpful while still respecting the privacy of their guests.

This place was amazing! All we could ask for. The apartment was clean, the property was secluded and quiet, with friendly hosts, and nature out our back door. Kitchen had all the essential appliances, the bedrooms and bathroom were wonderful. We hiked everyday on the trails and took the kayaks for a short upriver journey. The river, fauna and flora were beautiful. We bought strawberries at a Grey Rock Farms, a close farm produce stand. The small town of Woodruff was close by and we bought excellent meat and groceries at the Country Meat Center. We liked it so much we stayed an additional night and would love to go back again.

This was a unique place to stay. Comfortable and clean. Beautiful river right out the window. Nice hiking trail. It takes a little bit to get to the VRBO but if you follow their directions it is not a problem and it is worth it. Overall excellent stay.

From the beginning, the communication from the host was thorough, providing clear instructions for accessing and staying at the property. They promptly answered questions that we had as we prepared to go. We arrived at night and could hear the river but couldn’t see it. What a view to wake up to in the morning! My one regret was that I hadn’t brought my birding binoculars. We enjoyed our evenings on the lanai overlooking the river. The walking paths around the property were spectacular with benches for pausing along the way. The host was available if we needed anything but also respected our privacy. The space was great! It was clean and comfortable. We purposefully chose a place out of town but it was very accessible to the airport (1/2 an hour away) and stores. We also spent a day at the Biltmore - a little bit further away but worth the drive. This was our ideal getaway! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Our host(s) were amazing!!! The property was absolutely gorgeous, views were breathtaking and serene. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating while also respecting our privacy. I think I even made a new friend since she and I have so much in common. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

What a beautiful setting to retreat to. The space and provision were perfect for our short trip. Hope to make it back when it is warmer to experience the river a little more.

This rental exceeded my expectations. I was visiting the area for what I knew would be a stressful event. As an older woman, having someplace that is safe and secure is always something I aspire to. Having this location to return to each evening was incredibly appreciated. The hosts went over and beyond to make my stay perfect. In South Carolina there are tons of 2 lane winding roads and there is really no way to miss them and you shouldn't. Make that part of our experience. Enjoy the drive and what the local area has to offer. You will not be disappointed.Thank y'all for giving me a great experience. If I am ever back in the area, you will be my place of choice to stay!

Simply idyllic. What a gorgeous, peaceful, restorative property. Super clean, turn-key, quiet, peaceful, just perfect for our stay. My husband wants to return with our son to fish and furhter explore. Lucia and her husband were respectful of our privacy. It's a do-not-miss.

Lucia and Chris are exceptional hosts. The property is gorgeous with the sound of the rushing river making our stay remarkably relaxing. Eagles, heron, deer, tiny frogs, make this nature’s haven! Would definitely return!

Exceeded all of our expectations. Our hosts (Lucia & Chris) were wonderful and made our stay memorable. It was like leaving the busyness of every day life and pausing to listen to the river, walk the trail and still be close enough to enjoy a play at the Peace Center in Greenville. We arrived as strangers and left with new found friends. f

We found the entire property to be extremely clean and comfortable. It was a perfect base while we were in the area visiting relatives.

This quiet comfortable place was for us! Lucia and Chris welcomed us w/smiles & even offered to carry our luggage to the downstairs apt. In front of our designated parking spot we talked abt the lob eared bunnies Lucia raises. They were clean and well attended w/love by Lucia & daughter, Lexie. Abt 100 & the cutest babies! Apt in back faced 4000 ft babbling river that was breathtaking. Perfect for an experienced kayaker (kayak avail). Bench & nice paths for hiking along the river w/remnants of an old mill. Inside was just as inviting. 2 BRs on ea side of a living room/kitchen combo & 1 BA. The colors of green, brown, creams & white, touches of blue & plum echoed nature outside w/very tasteful decor I like to call understated elegance. Even a candelabra! All BRs and LR had river views. The tub/shower combo had a handle for stability and 3 combo dispenser on the wall. Plenty of hot water and pressure. Tall toilet & equipped w/hairdryer & curling iron. Floors throughout hard w/1 runner, huge closets, pantry w/more than needed! K-cup crockpot Garnite counters, soft touch closing cabinets so sleepy heads could snooze aft. long days enjoying cornhole around the covered patio w/plenty of oversized lounge chairs/ottomans. No cable/dishwasher but not missed w/many dvd's & outside nice sink. Flowers around grand home that were loving cared for. DON'T PASS THIS BY! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Private. Will stay again! Beautiful every season even winter! Tks for peace of mind stay L,L&C!

Beautiful inside and outside. The owner's of the property are amazing. The rooms are extremely well appointed. This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed and I am fussy when it comes to cleanliness. All rooms have huge windows and give magnificent views of the river and forest. We saw 2 bald eagles everyday of our 3 day stay. I love this place and we will always rent it when we stay in the area.

The property was nicely kept and well-stocked. Our hosts were friendly and eager to make sure my husband and I had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The river view right outside our front door was stunning. We would definitely stay here again!
