Stayed Apr 23, 2026We needed lodging for our nationally known storytellers that were coming from all around to Woodruff for the annual Stone Soup Storytelling Festival. Accommodations are very limited here. All of a sudden this lovely historical home popped up on Main Street available for a stay! A perfect place for our group. A lovely, comfortable well prepared kitchen, dining area, sitting room, and veranda that gave the tellers a place for conversation, sharing their stories and prepping for their public performances. They loved it. Close to the historic downtown area. Safe for a walk or run.Our Guest Contact was on the ball- answering questions and providing directions.Bethel, the house, was cozy yet business-like. A great place for business, families, and friends to gather. Hope to stay here again.

Stayed Apr 10, 2026Our group of 10 adults enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and charming 100 year old home. Our hostess greeted us to ensure we knew how everything worked and had pizza and water waiting for our group! So thoughtful! This house has everything you need for a large group. Lots of bedrooms, baths, and eating areas.
