Mt Solitary House – Elite Views | Incredible Comfort

Property has 5 bedrooms, 3 good bathrooms and very good views. House was very comfortable with plenty of amenities, eg baby cot, several portable fans, heating, full kitchen with utensils, etc. Easy check in. Responsive host. Things that didn't do well.... Charcoal bbq pit was not cleaned after previous use. Had to spend 45 mins clearing all the ashes below. After cleaning and fire started, temp would not go above 350F. Ended up not useable to bbq any meat. Kitchen Hood although useable, has some buttons missing and doesn't ventilate effectively. Smart TV is slow and the remote is cranky. Could do with some upgrades.

This is a fabulous property with a fantastic view. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms are great and the bathrooms are wow! The heating worked well and kept us all toasty warm. I stayed with my adult family of five and our dog, and everyone was very happy with Mt Solitary House. Thank you!

Wonderful views of the mountains, very clean, beautiful garden/scenery, comfortable beds, very quiet area, Host replied promptly. Overall, we loved the place. Just the getaway we needed.

Booked House for a family get together in December 2025. House is a great size. It is well appointed with great amenities. Two ensuite bedrooms and a 3rd bathroom makes it great for a large group. View from back deck spectacular. Host was very friendly and easy to contact. Our family loved the house, location and being well positioned between both Leura and Katoomba. Hard to fault. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely home overall

Very large house perfect for a big group with spacious bedrooms. 7 adults and 2 children comfortably stayed here. There are great walks everywhere in the Blue Mountains, with good walks close by this house, I would recommend staying here. My only feedback is that they should provide some basics like tea bags and sugar, and maybe a handful of coffee capsules.

The property exceeded my expectations, the photos were lovely, but it was larger and more modern than I imagined. The house is well appointed with lots of cookware etc, we didnt need to bring anything - I'd definitely stay again!

When we arrived this house was spotlessly clean. All bedding smelled clean and fresh, towels were soft and fluffy. Beautiful views from the back of the house, very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. A very enjoyable stay.

Mt Solitary House is as advertised. It is large, well equipped, warm, and comfortable. The view of Mt Solitary is extraordinary. The street is very quiet, no traffic. Highly recommended. We will be back.

It was perfect for our stay with two families. It had two master bedrooms, each with an ensuite. This was outstanding.

We stayed here for 5 nights working. It was a great place to work and also enjoy the Blue Mountains.

The property is well situated with lovely valley views. The kitchen was well appointed but we all thought the cupboards needed door handles as the current system is very annoying. Check in was easy and communication with host accurate and efficient. We would suggest making it more obvious that the fifth bedroom is a bunk room. This was not made clear enough in the icons describing the sleep configuration
