Mountainhaus Retreat

The stay and overall Helen experience was awesome! Only down side was the serious lack of water pressure in the bathrooms throughout the cabin. The girls filled cups with water and dumped it on their heads so they would have enough water pressure to get the shampoo out of their hair. Besides that, the cabin was very nice.

Lovely home. Perfect for multiple families and very close to downtown Helen.

The house was perfect for us and we loved the game/kitchen downstairs. We also took full advantage of the spa and golf course!

Yes everything was perfect

The amenities and house were spot on! Check-In was very easy and ready early so we were able to explore and get comfortable with the property. We had an issue with the gas fire place but we called and the host/cabin rentals sent a repair man immediately. He was very professional and friendly. We had 6 adults and 4 children from the ages of 5 months to 5 years and had plenty of room! The house is beautiful, close to town, and would highly recommend staying at Mountain House Retreat!

The room downstairs whete the sleeper sofa is needs blinds or curtains.The address for directions needs tob changed from the back entrance if you cant enter there. It was very confusing.

Mountainhaus Retreat was spotless, top to bottom! There were 10 of us. Our youngest family took the bottom floor with the game room, their own kitchen and bath which gave them their privacy. The rest of us had our own private rooms and baths which was perfect. That steamroom in the shower was awesome! We didn't do any cooking as we enjoyed eating out at all those wonderful German food venues each day. However, we thoroughly enjoyed having our coffee on the back deck each morning watching for wildlife. One evening we spent around a campfire and made s'mores and we all enjoyed the hot tub which was very clean and relaxing after a full day of Oktoberfest in Helen. Everyone involved with our stay was very helpful and informative, communication was perfect. Questions were answered timely which allowed us ample time to prepare for our travels. All in all it was a wonderful escape to Helen and our stay at the Moutainhaus Retreat couldn't have been any better unless we had been able to stay longer than our 4 days. Next time! This was a nice property that met our needs. The kitchen was well equipped and we had bedrooms for all of us. The hot tub was a nice feature and the great room was comfortable.

Property was very well maintained and in a great location. Extra bonus of wildlife.

We had an amazing time in town, on the golf course. In the hot tub and at the fire pit. The house is amazing and spacious and the resort is gorgeous. Golfing and the fire pit area are a must. Thank you so much for a great time and life long memories.
