Mountain-View Buena Vista Home: 1 Mile to Main St!

The property had great views and the hot tub was nice although it took a while to warm up. Overall the property needs to be updated. The kitchen had dollar store pots and pans and they were dirty. The oven was falling apart and there was only a half a roll of paper towels for the whole weekend. The bedrooms had very old mattresses that sank in the middle when you slept in them. The master bedroom was spacious, but the bed was four feet off the ground which made it a pain to get into. The comforter was from the 8”’s and very scratchy and someIf the linens had holes in them. My adult kids slept in the bunk room which was fun, but the sheets on the bunk beds were dirty and the mattresses were again really old. Nothing is taken care of or maintained on this property. For the price, you can get a much better home with appliances that work and the same view, just do more research than I did. We won’t be staying here again.

The property needed a lot of fixes, the smoke detectors were removed, the oven was close to falling apart, there was a hole in the deck right at the entrance, window screens damaged and impaired view, old beat-up hot tub, neighborhood not so great, deck furniture in disrepair, and we had to purchase our own paper towels.

Exactly what we expected. Provides us a close, safe and clean home base for everything we planned to do in Beuna Vista. We look forward to staying there again on our next visit

Great stay in Buena Vista

Stunning View but…The Issues:1. The Deck : despite outdoor space being the highlight of the listing the furniture was old and weathered and the deck had several rotting spots that were simply covered up by old worn out rugs and outdoor fabric. These spot are sadly tripping hazards and really took away from the outdoor space. 2/102. Functionality and Cleanliness of Accessories- several items like fridge, house fans, furniture, and grill were left dirty, dingy and worn out. The grill in particular was filthy, filled with accumulated food debris, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, and didn’t have a starter. The oven and toaster were also old and resulted in multiple burned meals. 3. House Exterior- while viewing the magnificent view and deer cross your yard, you will also get views of old hot tub covers, an additional broken hot tub, old camper and truck, leaves, yard debris and rotting trees. Enjoy.4. General Aesthetic - inside decor needs major revamp. Decor is dated and excessive, from old furniture, carpet in the bathroom, to outdated and excessive wall art.Overall this place has a great view with major potential, but sadly just needs a remodel and a deep clean. Worth the stay questionable, but convenience and view made issues acceptable for short term.

There are many issues with this home. Rotting deck, no starter propane, utensil drawers have old crumbs in them, pots and pans covered in dust. On the plus side, the hot tub worked and it is an amazing view.

Views from the back patio/hot tub were immaculate. Very easy check in/check out and overall excellent accommodations

Great View! Convenient location

What beautiful views from the house! Lots of deer every day in the backyard. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Location is unbeatable. Loved the property. Property looked very close to the pictures listed. Only wish is some of appliances were quite old and could use upgrading. For ex the toaster and the toaster oven looked very very old.. so did not use.

The house is perfect, great location and cannot beat the view. We will definitely stay again

The view was priceless! We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the beds. It didn’t look like the sheets and pillowcases were washed. There was hair and food on them. The rest of the house was clean and spacious.

I was racing the High Lonesome 100 miler, and this house was ideal location for my family and friends to stay. Nice space and comfortable !

Great mountain views of the collegiate peaks from your backyard. Easy to commute to Aspen and Crested Butte.The couch upholstery and carpets had lots of stains, so we didn't feel like it was clean. But bathroom and kitchen were kept tidy. City market is also really close by for your groceries.

Property was ok, seems like the hosts didn't put much effort into it. There was underwear left in the drawers from the prior guest, mostly used soap bars, dirty sponge in the kitchen, yard was very unkept, missing and disconnected smoke detectors, dirty carpet, those sort of things. No one drastic thing, just lots of little things that could have been taken care of with a bit more effort on the part of the host.
