Modernized 1960's Semi-Oceanfront - Dog Friendly with Large Fenced Yard!

This was the perfect place to extend our stay for our April week in Frisco. The house is very comfortable and very clean. Our dogs loved the huge yard. We ate breakfast at Sam and Omies which was fantastic. Our dinner was at Noosa’s beach grill and I can’t say enough positive things about the fabulous food and specialty drinks! The staff was very welcoming. We bought treasures from local artists at The Artsy Octopus and we visited and bought treasures from the Shipwreck on the Causeway. This house is conveniently located to just about everything!

Perfect place to stay with our dogs. They loved the big back yard and the Less than 2 min walk to the beach.

Great location. A 2 minute walk to the beach, good places to eat in walking distance, great big fenced in yard for the dogs, deck was phenomenal to sit on, tvs in each room, nice dining room table, sofa, kitchen and bedrooms. Would definitely stay there again.

We booked this house last minute for my kids spring break the house was perfect and In a great location. The owner and manager were very responsive and we even got to check in a little early! I would recommend this 100 to my friends and family. We will be back!

Absolutely perfect - so comfortable, great location, and wonderful for traveling with dogs. It's super convenient to have the beach access right across the street, and Jockey's Ridge just down the road. We can't wait to come back!

The house is much nicer than the pictures. Really quick walk to the beach. Centrally located to all OBX. Well stocked kitchen appliances and utensils. No issues at all. This place and the owner live up to all the great reviews we read!

This was the perfect home base for our winter birding trip. Josie the dog loved the big back yard. It was close to several good restaurants and public beach access. It wasn’t fancy and that was fine with us. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for more. Everything was clean and welcoming, beds comfortable and our fur babies loved the HUGE fenced backyard. Highly recommend!

Dee is awesome and very accommodating. My wife and I had been in Hatteras earlier in the week, drove up early in the day and Dee had the house ready for us to check in early. Plenty of space and great location to public access. We would stay here again. The only negative that we had was the cleanliness of the house was lacking.

We have been staying in this house twice a year for a couple of years now and it never disappoints. Perfect size for our family the fenced in yard is amazing for our frenchie crew and the location is fabulous! Close to stores and especially to the beach! Dee is amazing at communicating if you need something but she always makes sure you have everything before you even get there! My husband always says we are gonna buy this little pc of heaven one day

Stay was great. Property was clean, in a great location, and very accommodating. Everything that was needed was provided, felt very homey, was not loud, and was extremely convenient location. Property manager and owner was very responsive, and we had a wonderful experience.

This house was perfect for our needs. We loved the yard for our dogs. The beds were very comfortable and the shower is nice. I also appreciated the little things, like hooks in all the rooms and the beach wagon. We had everything we needed and a short walk to the beach.

We had a great week with this property. We brought our small dog so the yard was a plus. The place has so much character and is so close to the beach! We definitely enjoyed the wrap around porch with covered and uncovered areas. This was a great place to have breakfast. You should know that a renter’s agreement will have to be signed and 100% payment is required plus 300 damage deposit in advance. We would definitely stay there again.

We spent a week at the house and we were comfortable. Each day we would load up the beach wagon and take a very short walk across the road and over to the beach.

This cute little vintage cottage was perfect for us. Perfect location and even more spacious than we had thought! Dee, the property manager was super accomodating and so easy to work with. When we discovered the outside hose had been accidentally cut by the landscaper, Dee delivered a new one in no time. She hooked it up and even filled our dogs pool for us! Will be back for sure.

Was great! Perfect for spending time at the beach. I liked that it was close to beach access and had an outdoor shower with hot water.

We stayed from July 9th to 13th, 2025, and had a wonderful time. We loved the SeaWitch cottage's location, and the fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs.

Stayed for 9 days; check in was smooth and the place was clean. Deck is gated, so the dogs could relax with us outside. Right across from the street from beach access. Would stay again!

Great little house! We come to the beach for the outside, so we don’t need much from a house but I do still want a decent place. This little cottage was the best old school beach box we have stayed in so far! The huge yard for my rambunctious dog was the number one selling point for me. Once we got there we realized there’s great light inside from all the big windows so it didn’t feel dark and cramped at all! The bathroom was nice and spacious, big tvs were a great plus for night time, and the mattresses were fantastic!! Overall great house and we would go back!

We received excellent and fully accurate information about the home both from the listing and the owners. The living space was spacious and the kitchen well appointed. Beds were comfortable and nice linens provided. The yard was great for our dog. The porch was a highlight.

My family and I (husband and daughter) and our dogs loved this house! Location is less than 3 minutes to the beach, there’s plenty of beach stuff in the utility room to use, kitchen is fully stocked. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels for everyone. We appreciated the blankets left to protect furniture from the dogs, as well as the large porch to relax on. The dogs loved the size of the yard. Check -in was easy, house manager was responsive. Close to several grocery stores and restaurants. Instructions for the house were easy to follow. Would highly recommend this property for anyone traveling with kids and/or dogs!

We absolutely loved the house. The location was perfect for us and very close to the public beach access. We brought our dog with and he loved the large yard to be able to play in. We would definitely rent again!

Fun stay w my friend & our dogs! Perfect location with public access to beach just across street. Plenty of places to eat & shops nearby. The house is adorable & perfect for traveling w dogs. Coverings are provided for the furniture and the fenced-in yard made life so easy. We had so much fun exploring the area & having our dogs with us was an added bonus. We can't wait to return!

My friend and I enjoyed a short winter beach getaway at this wonderful property. Our dogs loved the huge fenced back yard and the house was perfect for us, too. The walk to the beach was short and easy, too! The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed.

We did a girls trip. Everything was amazing. We had an option to check in early as well. We will definitely be back!

Had a great long weekend, in town for a wedding and the location was absolutely perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Every room had TVs with a good channel lineup, though we didn't have much time to enjoy those, but good information for those who care about that. Host communication pre-stay was prompt. Would definitely come back to this property!

Great 2 night stay, perfect for middle of the island. We were able to use as a home base to travel the rest of outer banks. Great location!!

This was the perfect little spot for our weekend getaway. We were drawn to this particular house for the proximity to the beach and the fenced in yard as we were traveling with our fur babies. They absolutely loved running around in the yard and we loved the peace of mind of having the fence. The inside was very spacious with 3 bedrooms and a good sized living room. The host has laminated cards with instructions and information about the area. We spent our mornings out on the porch enjoying the breeze from the ocean. There was a little mix up preventing check in due to us sending the required rental agreement to the wrong number, but once I reached out to Dee she responded within minutes and got us all taken care of super quickly. Thank you Dee!

We had a great weekend with our family at The Seawitch. Just know that this house is pet friendly so there are aspects that you can’t coverup as a result. We are dog lovers (though we didn’t bring any with us) so we weren’t bothered by those things. Great location central to everything and excellent communication with property manager. She even gave us a letter check out upon request!

Its a nice cozy house. I felt at home during my stay.

I can’t say enough good things! I don’t often get to vacation with my kids, but OBX has been on my bucket list for a few years. This house exceeded expectations. So clean and organized and well-stocked! Dee was immediately available and texted back with answers to any questions we had. At the end of our trip, no one wanted to leave…especially the dog who was overjoyed with her fenced-in yard and deck. We walked to the beach daily, took an excursion to southern points on OBX, saw the Wright Bros monument, ate out, ate in, picnicked, and it was all incredible from gorgeous sunrise to even more gorgeous sunset. The location is perfectly situated for any and all activities you could want to do. The only thing we needed was MORE TIME to do more things! We’ll be back for sure.

We initially booked this house for its willingness to allow dogs. Unfortunately, about a month from our visit, our dog passed away. I explained the situation and the host was understanding and refunded our pet deposit. The location is prime for most visitors. It is a very central location with easy beach access and is close to a variety of places around town. The house was clean, we had no issues with any type of bugs or pests, the host was responsive and accommodating and it provided a lovely visit. My fiancé and I actually got married during this visit and the house brought with it a certain type of beach charm that only others of its era could. Lawn care showed up mid-week and mowed/trimmed the lawn. Pest care also showed up mid-week. The only bit of constructive feedback I could provide is this: I had left one morning to pick up Duck Donuts for breakfast. While I was away, Pest Control showed up shortly after I had left. The worker opened the door to the house and said hello which startled my wife as she knew it was not me and she was still in bed. I would suggest that if Pest Control is on a known schedule, it be made known to those renting the house so they are aware of the day/timeframe someone might be showing up. Even if someone were not home, it would be nice to have that knowledge so we could secure any items of value, etc. The price point on this rental for a week is spot on at ~$2,000. I hope the owners decide to keep the home right in that range. Will return!

My husband and I stayed with our three grandchildren for four nights at the Sea Witch. We loved the location and it suited us well. Had everything we needed and the yard was great for our dog. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space for everyone. Host was very nice and accommodating.

We stayed August 2023. It was perfect for us and our 3 dogs. The yard was great for our dogs; easy to let them out to run around. There was enough room for us inside to eat dinner as a family when we didnt want to go out and sit around and watch TV for when we were there. We spent the majority of our time at the beach which was only about a 5 minute walk if that. We did use the provided wagon and umbrella. It is a 2 wheel wagon with beach wheels (more like a wheel barrow) but it got through the sand very easily. It is not super fancy if that is what you are looking for, but it is not run down by any means. The owner was very easy to communicate with. The only thing I will say is that all of the reviews saying the beds were comfy must have different mattress tastes than us because we thought they were too hard.

Myself, 3 friends, and 5 dogs had the pleasure of staying in this charming cabin within a few minutes walk from the beach. Our stay was short but enjoyable. There are plenty of restaurants and shops near by. Also a Publix, Harris Teeter and Target within a 10 minute drive. The house is fully stocked with cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. Dogs loved the spacious yard. We will 100% be booking this place again in the future.
