Stayed Nov 14, 2025We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront home during our recent weekend in VT. The house was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend away. Even though it was too cold to enjoy the big deck and lake views to their fullest, we could still appreciate the peaceful scenery from inside. The space was perfect for our group of three couples — plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. We’d love to come back when the weather is warmer to fully enjoy all this lovely property has to offer!

Stayed Feb 6, 2026This home was perfect for our family weekend getaway. We enjoyed being inside as well as doing a bit of ice fishing on the lake. Accessing the ice from the state park was easy since the ice directly in front of the home hadn’t frozen over yet.

Stayed Nov 19, 2025The location of the house was very nice, but it had a serious mouse infestation problem, especially inside the kitchen drawers and cabinets.The drawer with the forks and knives had mice droppings. The cabinet with the cutting boards too, and so were several others.We used those utensils before noticing the problem. When we realized the problem was serious, the owner told us she would refund our money if we found another place.When we found another place, we only received a partial refund.VRBO was fantastic, and with just one call and excellent customer service, this problem was resolved

Stayed Apr 4, 2025Such a nice weekend stay. We arrived late Friday night and woke up to a beautiful view of Lake Dunmore. The house was clean and welcoming. The kitchen had all one needed. The weather was not in our favor (rained most of the weekend) but it did not matter. It was a perfect spot for our quick weekend to Midd.
