Modern Home in Cortez, Great Views with Easy Access to Activities

House is located in quiet neighborhood on the edge of town with beautiful views of Mesa Verde out the back of the house and of the Sleeping Ute mountain out front. Very convenient location for visiting Mesa Verde, Durango, Hovenweep, etc. Also convenient to restaurants and stores of Cortez. And, very well stocked kitchen and bedding. Highly recommend.

This property and Cortez in general is in a central location for all the beautiful and interesting sites in the region. Wonderful views from the property.

The home was very bright and open feeling. It was nice with the beds being well made when we arrived. The main room mattress is a memory foam and the queen room was memory foam as well. The kitchen was a nice place for storing any items as there was a fridge along with a wine fridge and a freezer. The living room was open with beautiful views outside. There was a porch to be enjoyed in the summer. It was clean when we got there and it did have necessities in both the pantry and the laundry room. Close drive to town but the house was still quiet snd felt like you had lots of privacy. Overall a great home!

The house is beautiful, the view is beyond words. Wake up and watch the sunrise on the back porch and sit on the front porch to watch the sunset. Grocery stores are near by. The neighborhood is quiet. Perfect house

Lots of space for 2 couples. Well equipped. We enjoyed cooking dinner in most nights & loved the view from the east facing patio. We also appreciated the no pets policy as 2 in our group have allergies.

The house was beautiful, clean, and full of any type of amenity one could as for. As former residents of Durango, Cortez and Telluride, the central location was just exactly what we were looking for with access to the 3 towns ,the Narrow Gauge train, Mesa Verde and the 4 Corners area. I am still wanting to throw open the drapes each morning to gaze out at the Mesa Verde, and sit on the porch at sunset and enjoy the wonderful view of the Sleeping Ute. The one thing my husband and I felt would be beneficial is a bar in the shower in the master bedroom. As seniors, we are most cognizant of fall dangers, and both felt the need of a bar, and possibly a mat, in the shower. But we, our son and 2 grandsons had a fabulous time during our week in SW Colorado, and want to thank our hosts and VRBO very much for a welcoming, delightful place to stay! Jeri, Mike, John, Colin and Noah Sheahan PS...As an added, unexpected bonus, one early morning while enjoying coffee on the back patio, we were treated to a concert by the high school band, practicing across the arroyo. A magnificent view and music as well...who could ask for more?

We visited Mesa Verde which was wonderful. This property is in a great location for Mesa Verde. It was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Beautiful view from the back patio. We found some great areas near by to hike.

House is in a scenic location. The neighborhood was quiet. Close to downtown. Only minor issue was the yard was not mowed which hid some dog poops. So we avoided the yard. House was well equipped.

The six of us had a lovely time at this home in Cortez. The location is quiet and has beautiful views from the backyard. The house is modern and clean. It is close to Mesa Verde National Park, and we had a wonderful dinner at the Loungin Lizard in downtown Cortez.

Our family of Mom and Dad the 3 college aged adult children spent 2 nights at this home. Beautiful location with unobstructed view out the back of the house as shown in the photos. Interior of the home is large and beautiful (architectural digest type) with comfortable memory foam beds. Minutes from grocery, and 15 minutes to Mesa Verde entrance. Family rated this home a 10 on a scale of 5. Off the chart. Thanks for an excellent stay!!!
