Cortez Retreat w/ Hot Tub - 11 mi to Mesa Verde!

Wendy and Richard were great hostesses. There was communication upon arriving and departing from the property. Their home was comfortable and beautiful. It provided all amenities for my family. It was quiet and peaceful in area with a great view of the mountains all the way around. I highly recommend this property.

This property was incredible. So clean! New appliances and the sheep roaming around made us smile every day. Hot tub was clean and great temperature. Lots of outdoor space with a grill and fire pit. Location was everything we wanted close to all of the parks aks Cortez is such a cute town. Highly recommend

The house was interesting and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The paper supplies were good quality. We felt like we were in the country, but shopping and restaurants were close. We used this for a base to explore around the 4 corners area. Outside of the house we were entertained by the sheep roaming the pasture and the hummingbirds visiting the feeders.

This casa is fantastic. So much attention to the detais of making the inside and outside beautiful, comfortable and immaculate. It was fun exploring the property to see all the interesting touches. The host was super welcoming and helpful.

My wife and I, and another couple stayed 4 nights while visting Mesa Verde. This was a fantastic find. The hosts know what they are doing. Nice park like setting, with beautiful outdoor setting. We appreciated the small things - the multiple hummingbird feeders were a nice touch. We felt like we were in Tuscany. Fun to watch the dogs work with the sheep. Location is ideal for a Mesa Verde visit. We will use this one again as a base when we do some of the western Utah parks. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect location for our family of five to stay when visiting Mesa Verde National Park. The house was clean and well stocked. The owners were easy to communicate with. Internet was reliable. Patio was wonderful spot to relax in the evening and watch the hummingbirds.

The property was a reflection of the owners attention to detail for comfort and privacy. A true taste of the southwestern aura. A gem in Cortez.

Quirky, comfortable, cozy house on a sheep farm. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and well stocked with all the needs. Communication with owners fabulous. One en-suite bedroom downstairs with 2 sitting areas, kitchen and dining table. Third living area upstairs with second en-suite bedroom. Outside lots of patio seating. Wonderful stay for 3 days!

This home is so lovely and such a wonderful place to refresh after days out exploring. It’s spacious, clean, and beautifully and uniquely designed. We loved watching the sheep and walking the trails behind the property. It was also a convenient distance from Mesa Verde (we loved Balcony House!) and Four Corners. The outdoor space around the house was wonderful, the hot tub and lawn and patio in the evenings was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had such a wonderful stay at this casa! It was incredibly comfortable and spacious, making it the perfect place for us to relax. The decor was adorable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and truly feel at home. The gas fire pit on the back porch made our springtime trip even more enjoyable—we loved sitting outside in the evening.The sheep were such a fun and unique addition. Wendy was super responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. The location of the casa was perfect for visiting the three national parks within driving distance, which made our trip even more memorable. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped getaway!

This home & property is very unique. I have stayed in many places and have to say this was so beautiful with very well appointed details.EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN!! And the furniture was not only beautiful but also very comfortable. Many different sitting areas outside and gorgeous antique touches mixed with contemporary furniture as well.I would absolutely recommend this place and would also love to visit again. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. 5 stars for sure!

We loved our stay recently. It really is a peaceful place to stay & close to town without feeling like you are in the middle of everything. The host couple was quick to respond to any questions we had! We will for sure be back!!

We loved sitting on the outside porch enjoying the sunset around the mountains, and I truly appreciated the updated and beautiful kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. We had a great relaxing stay in Cortez. The location is great for visiting Mesa Verde and the home had a lovely patio area with an open view. We BBQ’ed and watched the sunset from the hot tub. We had a great stay
