The house sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, 2 king beds, 2 twin beds
Superbly located just 4 miles to downtown Blowing Rock, 5 miles to downtown Boone and the ASU campus, 2 miles to Appalachian Ski Mountain, 3 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 4 miles to Tweetsie Railroad.
The house was designed for the owners exacting tastes and guests’comfort. The mountains are on full display in the living spaces from the full height window wall and back deck.
All design decisions were made with sustainability, efficiency, health, and personal safety in mind. The house is all electric, including the fireplace, in order to be able to run on solar power (coming in 2025). Roast marshmallows over the wood burning fire pit outside and relax after a beautiful day in the mountains.
The house is nestled in a well established neighborhood in the mountains known for its long range spectacular views and proximity to the Village of Blowing Rock, Boone, ASU, and the best of the adventures, shopping, and fine dining that the High Country offers.
Less than 5 miles to Tweetsie Railroad, Mystery Hill, Mast General Store, hiking, biking, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding restaurants, boutiques, cafes, grocery stores, breweries, and more. Find comfort in the safety of a neighborhood while feeling like you are on your own private mountain.

The house is fully equipped with a refrigerator, range, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, washer, and dryer. There is high speed wireless internet and a Smart TV with access to all major streaming outlets.
The road to the house is paved, with a gravel driveway. Parking is beside the house and can accommodate 2 cars comfortably. As with the entire high country area, 4WD or AWD vehicles are best in the winter months. The neighborhood does a great job salting and plowing but every now and then the roads can be icy and snowy.
