Modern 2BR/2BA with hot tub, pool table, cornhole, fire pit—your perfect Mohican base!

This was the perfect getaway as a couple. We absolutely loved the hot tub. They had cards and games as well. The property is secluded but still accessible and we felt very safe. Mohican was wonderful and the hosts helped us when we thought we got locked out on Easter Sunday [thanks a bunch]!

We loved this property! Loved the hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and the layout of the place. We had a blast! It is around farmland so if you don’t mind the manure smell it’s fine. Had an issue with the outlets in the bathrooms not working but I messaged the hosts and they were willing to send someone out that day. But I just wanted to let them know so it could be addressed in the future. We loved having a washer and dryer too. Overall we loved our weekend getaway!

The lodge was immaculately cleaned and the area is beautiful and quiet. Our family had a nice relaxing time playing pool, gathering around the kitchen and watching some Youtube in the hot tub. Access was easy and all the amenities we needed were provided and then some. Upon getting back home my son thought we left his chess board at the lodge so we messaged the hosts and they were quick to respond and look through the lodge and found nothing and offered to keep looking! We ended up finding in our garage it never got packed! Thanks for the great time and quick and kind responses to our non issues :).

This was our second stay at the Little Lodge, and it continues to be a very relaxing, comfortable place to get away. The Lodge is meticulously clean and very well supplied with all the essentials. Its location is quiet but still only a short drive to Mohican State Park for hiking and kayaking or to Loudonville for dining and browsing. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub while watching the birds and fall colors and even while listening to the rain drum quietly on the roof. Host Jodi was attentive and helpful in communications, and she has quite the knack for decorating and design. We very much enjoyed our getaway and hope to continue to be regular guests of JJB Getaways.

Very cozy, accommodating, clean beautiful place

The little lodge was a perfect addition to add to our rental of the large lodge. It is very well put together and had everything that was needed. The pool table and hot tub were an added bonus!

Such a lovely cabin! Tons of games , great pool table ! Hot tub was super , the bonus was watching tv in the hot tub !!! I would love the option to already have fire wood there for our stay instead of driving to purchase it. It was a bit out of our way , but we made due! Thanks for sharing your cabin !

We would give 11 stars if we could. The home was exceptionally clean, well decorated and we appreciated all the extras you do not typically get at most vacation rentals (coffee bar, quality cookware, plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher/laundry pods, quality outdoor grill, nightlights, the fresh flower clippings, the outdoor games, etc.) We thoroughly enjoyed all the outdoor games and the back porch/hot tub/fire pit. The hosting website and associated information was excellent and check-in was effortless. We will certainly recommend JJB Getaways properties to friends going to the area and will certainly look them up if coming back to the Mohican area. They have the most professional vacation rental operation we've encountered and can heartily recommend them 100%.

What an amazing smaller space! It felt so smooth and wide open! My family had so much fun, the check-in and check out was so easy! So many amenities, and we were able to just relax and enjoy the space and the area without worries! Thank you so much!

We (5, 7, 20, and 40 year olds) had the best time here. The property is even better than described and everything is so thoughtfully done. Stainless appliances, aluminum foil, basic spices, a lighter for the fire pit, very clean, every type of sugar for the coffee, propane in the tank. Thank you so much for having us, we’ll definitely be back!

We had a fantastic family weekend at the Little Lodge. The place was clean, well stocked and had a lot of family friendly activities (indoor and outdoor games, hot tub, fire pit). The location was very close to a lot of tourist attractions including Mohican Adventures, Pleasant Hill Lake and hiking trails. When we come back to Mohican we would love to book with JJB Getaways! :)

We had 4 generations of 5 family members from ages 7 to 90 to stay while attending a family reunion. The Little Lodge was accessible for all, had all of the niceties needed to keep everyone entertained, great laundry and convenient to Mohican State Park, Mohican Adventures and our family farm in Loudonville.

First of all I wanna start off by thanking the hosts for allowing my friends and I to book being that we were under the minimum booking age so that was something that I really appreciated. I will mention a few things in this review that I want to be taken as constructive criticism and positive feedback rather than trying to bash on anyone and taken in a negative way. When we first arrived the place was super easy to find and any questions I had I texted the owners and they were very quick with their responses. Although upon settling down and putting things away we did notice a few things about the cleanliness of the place. Those things being that the beds weren’t made, there were still dishes loaded in the dishwasher, and there were dirty towels piled up by the washer. Other than those few things everyone in my group had a lot of complements to the house and the structure. They really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was my personal favorite. The vibe of the patio at night really made it special with the way we would all hangout and turn the string lights on. There was plenty of parking for everyone and with the house being on the owners property and combined driveways, everyone going up and down the driveway was very respectful and the event they had Friday night didn’t cause a ruckus. In conclusion I am very grateful for being allowed to book and the house was very cute and comfortable. Other than those few minor issues upon arrival it is a great place to stay

We had a great time in this beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom barndominium in a peaceful, private, country setting. This was a ladies trip with my daughter, sister and niece to celebrate my 66th birthday. The covered porch with the hot tub and comfortable outdoor furniture including a porch swing made it so nice for conversation and catching up. The hot tub helped us relax and unwind. Everything was clean and well maintained throughout. We are definitely going back with our hubby’s.

The Little Lodge is the homiest and best-equipped rental property we’ve ever stayed at. I don’t think of myself as a decor person, but turns out I loved being in a house that kept surprising me with its decorative touches. We’ve stayed in a wide range of rentals over the years, and this is the only one that had literally everything we needed for our stay — including consumables like extra paper towels and laundry soap, as well as things we didn’t need but very much appreciated like games and cozy blankets.The property was extremely clean, communication was top notch, and we loved the pool table, hot tub and ping pong table. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This property was by far the best we have visited in terms of cleanliness, ease of access, friendliness and professionalism of hosts, etc. We cannot say enough great things about our stay and plan to book at other JJB Getaways in the future.

We really enjoyed staying at the Little Lodge. The house is adorable, had everything we needed and more, and enjoyed the amenities (hot tub, fire pit, yard games, board games, etc). Our stay was very comfortable and we felt right at home. Highly recommend this property- it truly exceeded our expectations!

Our family really enjoyed our time at the Little Lodge! We felt very secluded yet close enough for visits to Loudonville, Mohican State Park, and the historic Ohio Reformatory. The lodge was very well appointed with beautiful interior design, comfortable bedding, games, kitchenware, and wonderful coffee and snack selections. We were very spoiled by being able to watch TV even while soaking in the hot tub! During our visit, we greatly enjoyed meals at the nearby Ugly Bunny Winery and the Copper Mug restaurant as well as hiking in the park. This was our second visit to a JJB Getaway property, and we were so happy with the accommodations. All communications were clear, and the home's e-manual was a great resource. We hope to visit again in the near future!

This was a great house! It was really clean and was perfect for us. We were traveling with just 3 that included my teenage son who was there for a basketball tournament in Mt. Vernon, which is about 40 min. drive. The owners were great, communicated great, and took care of a small problem we had quickly. You will not be disappointed with this place. The weather kept us from enjoying outdoor stuff. I am very picky and can ensure you this place is Modern and well kept. The location is about 50 min to Tanger Outlets, 1 hour from Polaris, and 1:15 from Easton Mall in Columbus. Yes, it is a little ways out there and know they are a lot of country roads and turns to get to the location. We did eat at one of the highly recommended places in Loudenville listed on their site, The Black Fork. I would say it is a flop, not really good at all. Couple other things to consider that was unknown, was there is not cell service in the house and need to go down the road just a bit to get service. However, they have great HiSpeed internet that allows you to connect, text, FaceTime, and get online. The two queen bedroom, one of the beds is pretty firm and the other was perfect. The King room was great. Just know the bathroom for that room is not attached to the bedroom which I believe is noted in the description. It was no problem at all. Once again, the place was super clean and space was maximized for the amount of square feet. They have other houses to choose from. This house was perfect and highly recommended for anyone!!

My wife and friends has a great weekend getaway and loved this place. It was a short drive to the Snow Trails for tubing!

The Little Lodge is excellent! Our family enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and ping pong table. The unit is well equipped for cooking as well as relaxing. Their recommendation for local restaurants was on the mark. We dined out one evening at the Black Fork Bistro and loved it. The lodge is located within about 20 minutes of Snow Trails so we took in a day of skiing as well as just some general exploring of the nearby towns. Next time we will probably add some hiking as well. I highly recommend The Little Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay!

The property and amenities were wonderful! While it rained most of our trip, we had plenty of time to just relax and hang out on the property!

The photos and information provided beforehand were so thorough that when I walked in everything was familiar. It was a very quiet, peaceful area to stay.

My friends and I wanted to spend a weekend without kids/husbands/dogs and we wanted to relax, recharge, and reconnect. This place was just perfect to do that! We enjoyed the cute decor and vibe of the home, and Jodi was wonderful to communicate with. Even the little things like noise makers in the bedroom, snacks on the counter, etc. made this feel like home for the weekend. The home is nestled in the woods/plains area of Loudonville, but it’s not too far from the main roads either. We would absolutely come back and/or book with JJB again. Thanks for giving us the getaway we needed!!

The house is nice and clean. The furniture is clean and comfortable. Everything there, from the games, the hottub, Everything you might need in the kitchen. You don’t have to leave the house to enjoy yourself. I'm very happy with this rental. I highly recommend staying here! Thank you very much, Jason and Jodi!

Our stay here was beyond what I could of expected. Everything was amazing from the location to the interior of the cabin. We arrived and everything was clean and ready for us to stay. I love that they provided cooking utensils as someone who is used to bringing my own that was a huge plus and saved on packing space! They were quick to respond to any inquires we had and did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as stress free as it could be!
