Stayed Apr 17, 2026Overall, we had a very good stay at this VRBO. The location was excellent, and the house itself was mostly clean and comfortable. The back deck was messy when we arrived, but management responded quickly and had it cleaned right away, which we appreciated. There were also some dark spots on the ceiling in the kitchen that were a little concerning, though no one in our group experienced any issues during our stay. It also stated there was daybed that was not there. Overall, a good experience in a great location. They just need to take care of a couple issues and some wording on the vrbo site and this house would definitely be 5 stars.

Stayed Mar 21, 2026It was a beautiful 1800’s home with the original flooring, 10’ ceilings and full of antiques including a portrait of the owners in the late 1800’s mustache cup, shaving brush lots old irons, a chamber pot, pitcher @ wash pan and much more. If you are in Savanna, you should take all of the ambience.Hix

Stayed Jan 16, 2026Best location for 2 couples in the winter. The heat rising to the bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect at night. The location could not have been better. Centrally located to EVERYTHING. The house had a balcony to see all of Savanah from any angle. We especially loved the history of the house used as decor for the walls. It was so interesting to read all the blueprints and genealogy. The men had to be torn away from researching the history so we could experience it. I didn't mention the furniture. Wow. The beds were super comfortable, the rooms were very sound tight and private. We will definitely be staying here again. Great host, we never saw. Everything was perfect so we didnt need to contact them and our stay was never interpreted. Thank you for helpinng making our first 2026 trip a success.

Stayed Jan 2, 2026Very cute house! Missing basic items that are usually at a rental like pizza pan and pizza cutter. Three spoons all had sharp edges and were unusable. Bottom of dishwasher was very gross. A little further from town then i would have liked.

Stayed Dec 27, 2025The house is located near the historic center, no need to use a car. It's a very old house and could benefit from deep cleaning and renovations, but the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. A great place if you want to experience Savannah and its history.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025My dauagher is (16) this was her (3rd) summer to SCAD. The first being in Atlanta. We very much enjoyed this home more than any. It's a great home and to have the room when you're on the road for this long or longer. We so appreciate it. We will be a regular to Savannah due to Reagan ( my daughter) continued advancement with SCAD. We call her Rea. she started this journey at (14) years old. Jackson my son (14) and myself come very year. Next year we will be there (5) weeks if all goes to plan for Rea. Rea will have 2/3rds of her Sophomore year complete with Scad when she graduates High School in 2027. Again, thank you for sharing your home with us. Rusty

Stayed May 17, 2025This place was amazing. Historic, well kept, and perfectly located. Five minutes in an Uber to the waterfront for dinner, and the most magnificent one and a half hour walk back after drinks. With old Savannah charm this property sits perfectly placed close enough to everything but far enough away from the chaos.I’ve been to Savannah several times, but truly enjoyed this property and its location. I would highly recommend this property based on just pricing alone. The property manager was easy to work with and I think anyone staying here in the future will absolutely enjoy their stay.

Stayed Apr 10, 2025The house was perfect for two couples -two bedrooms with comfy king sized beds. Two nice outdoor areas One of the bedrooms is very dark though, as are the kitchen and common areas downstairs. The house is a little shabby- peeling paint in places, funky door knobs, a little mildew But overall the house served us perfectly and we had a lovely stay in savannah

Stayed Sep 27, 2024Pro: Great location in historic part of town. It's a big space. Con: We were greeted by the smell of mold when opening the front door for the first time. And rightly so. The second flooring ceiling above the main stairway and two of the second floor doorways (primary bedroom and second bathroom) are covered in mold. Most of the downstair air vents are covered in mold, which was notable as the upstairs vent were clean. Paint is peeling off the ceilings in a number of rooms. Wall paper is peeling from the walls. There was what appeared to be blood on the primary bath wall. The pace is cluttered. This house looks like the great grandparents died last week. Only their clothes were taken to Goodwill. And it is a vacation rental this week. Open just about any drawer and there are old lightbulbs, a fax machine and answering machine that had to be from the 70's, old pharmaceutical bottles. Weird. There was a rolltop desk that had old random papers scattered on the top, two used coffee cups, a dish full of old batteries, old cards, just stuff. The kitchen floor is about 2-3 inches higher than the other flooring, so there is a set-down from kitchen into what was probably once a sun porch. The ceramic floor tiles are loose and held in place with blue painters masking tape. The upholstered furniture has liquid stains. The second upstairs bath has an electrical outlet hanging out of the wall. No cover plate. I wish VRBO had a way to upload pictures.
